Sichuan Lotus Cemetery is a legal social cemetery approved by Sichuan Provincial Civil Affairs Department and Meishan Civil Affairs Bureau. The cemetery is adjacent to the ancient town of Huanglongxi on the left and Muma Mountain on the west, and is connected with the tombs of Liu Bei's Tomb, Peng Zu and Hana in the estuary. Beautiful and natural, originated from the ancient Shu-Han vein.
The ancients said: Rongcheng is the old capital, two-color river dance, three counties singing, and a hundred miles of lotus fragrance. The Buddha's light shines, the clouds of Shuanglong are hidden in the mountains, the morning bells and drums are ringing, the sound of ancient temples is floating in the mountains, and Qingfeng Mountain is flying like a swan with wings spread. There is even a folk song: where to find happiness, ride south, travel 60 miles, and find it on Jinling Mountain. The Lotus Cemetery was built on the back of Jinling Ridge, following the ancient system, standing by the mountain, showing the depth of the central axis and the symmetrical relaxation of its wings, just like a swan spreading its wings, echoing the local legend of "swan holding an egg" and connecting end to end, forming a wonderful landscape pattern of "leaning on Jinling, overlooking the four fields, spreading its wings and riding the wind, and holding its head high".
Lotus Cemetery takes caring for life, respecting nature, promoting filial piety and inheriting culture as its own responsibility, and plans to build a garden-style, artistic, personalized and diversified theme cemetery with rich culture and perfect management in the western region.
After years of development, precipitation and careful construction, Lotus Cemetery has become one of the four major cemeteries in the east, west, south and north of Chengdu, and has become a cemetery representative in the south gate of Chengdu and a cemetery model that honors "the south of the city".
Lotus cemetery, the whole park is dominated by Han and Tang architectural styles, and highlights the cultural theme of loyalty and filial piety. The combination of humanistic landscape and garden landscape exudes a strong charm of Shu and Han everywhere. The 39.5-meter-long arch stands in the center of Xiao Zhong Square, towering into the sky and imposing. The pictures of ancient tombs in various periods engraved on the archway are vivid.
Entering the archway is a traditional cultural wall, and on the right is a beautiful service building, which is a fixed place for customers to go through formalities and provide services. On the left is the cultural and leisure corridor, which is a place for people to rest. There are carved cultural inscriptions and small cultural scenes in the park. Walking through the zhaobi, a wide Shinto with a length of 99 meters and a width of 12 meters, a group of solemn cultural sculptures, 24 stone statues, like 24 loyal guards, stood on both sides with great power to welcome good luck and send blessings to people.
Go right along the Shinto steps, and you will see Lotus Lake, with blue waves like mirrors and full of fun, as if the sky is underwater and the mountains are in the sky. On the shore is a leisure square of 1000 square meters, which is planted with all kinds of precious flowers and trees, and people can play here for leisure. On the other side is a wide green lawn. Maybe it will be an art museum in the future. Along the Leisure Square Avenue, people who have lived in the plain for a long time have a sense of pleasure. Other mountains are dwarfed under the sky ... Looking at the broad prospects of the earth, the water in Jinjiang Bay is like an elegant jade belt stretching out from their eyes. ...
Today's Lotus Cemetery is not only a century-old blessed place where the old friends rest in peace, but also an ideal resting place, and it is also an ethereal realm to carry forward filial piety and realize life. In ancient times, there was a filial piety of stone and rice, and thousands of children were born and passed down through the ages. Today, there are lotus flowers that are loyal, filial and blessed. Blood is thicker than water, and affection is more important than mountains. Mountain is a book, and filial piety exists between heaven and earth.
