You can report the loss by phone, but you can't reissue it. Generally speaking, there is no process to report the loss of identity cards, and the public security organs have not requested to report the loss of identity cards. The public security organs have no mandatory requirements for reporting the loss of resident identity cards, and all of them are voluntary.
Details are as follows:
I take my account book to the police station where my account is located, and then get the receipt. At that time, I will take the receipt to the police station for a long time.
It takes a long time for family members to go to the police station in their jurisdiction to submit materials, go through various formalities and help them get a certificate. It usually takes 2-3 months.
Reissue your ID card in different places. At present, it seems that only Jiangxi, Shaanxi and Hunan provinces have opened. The operation is relatively simple. Just provide the ID number and name, and the ID card can be reported directly. The time is also shorter, 15-20 days, and the cost will be slightly higher.
At present, China's cities basically adopt two "procedures" to report the loss of identity cards:
1, report, take notes and give an alarm receipt. Then take the alarm receipt and the household registration book to the local police station to report the loss, fill in the Registration Form for Reporting the Loss of Identity Card, and take this form to re-apply for an identity card (it costs twice as much to apply for a new card).
2. To report the case, open a letter of introduction (report the loss) in the unit (or neighborhood committee), publish it in the newspaper, that is, the report of the loss will be invalid, and then go to the police station where the account is located with the payment receipt (voucher) and household registration book, and re-apply for an ID card (it is twice the cost to apply for a new card).
