Officers below the regimental level will be paid an ordinary salary of 1000 yuan on the original basis. The post subsidies for officers at the grassroots battalion level and company level (including officers at platoon level) are 600 yuan, 500 yuan and 300 yuan respectively, and grassroots deputies do not enjoy subsidies. Non-commissioned officers were transferred to 400 yuan on the original basis, and conscripts (soldiers and cadres) were transferred to 200 yuan on the original basis. 500 yuan will be given a general adjustment of 2,000 yuan in areas above the Corps, and a subsidy in areas above 3,500 meters above sea level in Tibetan areas, regardless of the position, according to the new standard.
The lowest rank of soldiers in active service is Private, and the rank is Master Sergeant First Class.
