We have a saying in China that "a levee of a thousand miles collapses in a cave". China's leading group for informatization has particularly emphasized the need to attach great importance to the construction of information security system, requiring both informatization and network information security. To develop in safety, we must ensure safety in development. Therefore, information security is the lifeline of informatization. Once there is a problem, informatization will collapse. Just like our levee, we often flood control in the south and find that the levee is a bean curd project. Our informatization is the same, once we encounter problems, it will be destroyed.
Second, information security is already an integral part of national security. * * * The Central Committee once held the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee, and the meeting made a decision to strengthen the Party's ruling ability. There is a very important passage in this document, "We must resolutely guard against and combat the infiltration of various hostile forces, subvert separatist activities, effectively guard against and deal with various risks from the international economy, and ensure the political, economic, cultural and information security of the country". Standing at such a height, the CPC Central Committee ranks information security with political security, economic security and cultural security as one of the four major security contents in China. It can be seen that information security is so important that it must not be taken lightly.
