Master of the nether world: What are the ten freedoms?
Q: What are the ten freedoms? Master of the nether world: There are ten kinds of comforts here, which are just right for six paramita. One of us often likes to give, and his future result has three kinds of freedom. The first "longevity" is "freedom": Buddha wants to be reincarnated into the world, and his life in the world can be decided by himself. His "longevity" is "freedom". The second is "freedom of mind": the former life is the freedom of Buddhism, and if you give it often with Buddhism, you will feel comfortable in life; This place is fearless, and the "peace of mind" of this place is the Buddha's heart, which is not polluted by all secular laws. We often say, "Eight winds don't blow, Zilian sits. You often use this kind of comforting and encouraging words to enlighten all beings and make them leave their fears; In this way, during the whole practice, you will easily feel at ease and will not be easily disturbed by these external disturbances. You said, well, some people are easily disturbed. This kind of person who often comforts others is not easily disturbed and "comfortable". " "Many things are at home": this is wealth, and this "many things" refers to the means of living and will not be lacking. This place is where you like to give property when you are on the land. For example, the Buddha has a disciple of Arhat, the Arhat Venerable. Among all the arhats, his characteristic is reassuring. He used to be the prince of the family. Playing games with these courtiers, he lost a lot of cookies today. He asked his mother for cookies. His mother said, you've lost all my cookies. There aren't any cookies. The venerable anus said: You can't live without this biscuit, and you should be full at any time. And his mother said, if you don't believe me, I'll show you this empty box. As soon as she opened it, the empty biscuit box was filled with biscuits again. The venerable Anna later became a monk, and he went begging with other disciples. Of course, sometimes he met a rich family, and sometimes he met a very poor family. But any kind of raw food, as soon as it enters the bowl of the venerable Analu, becomes manna flavor, and such raw food is not allowed in his bowl. Sometimes he can't finish eating, so he takes out the things in this bowl and gives them to other disciples. As soon as this diet left his bowl, it became a bad diet again. So this "everyone is comfortable" means that he does not lack living resources. Of course, this has something to do with his wealth "giving". This place is about giving. This place is about keeping precepts. A person who likes to observe precepts can easily get two kinds of freedom in his later life: one is "comfortable in his career" and the other is "comfortable in his life". This kind of "career freedom" means that his body, mouth and heart can do whatever he wants, and naturally he can achieve solemnity. We talk about the solemnity of body and mind, and the general cause is easy to be solemn. I keep quiet in my heart; However, what he said may not be liked by others, and what he did may not be liked by others, so it is not easy to be solemn in mouth and body. Look at Master Gong Li. I once met a lay man. He is a businessman and a boss, and the boss is a bit arrogant. He said: When he first came to Rein Temple, he didn't know who Master Gong Li was. When he saw an old monk coming from a distance, he was deceived by his magnificent career, and then he naturally worshipped and turned to the Three Treasures. That is to say, after a person has kept the precepts for a long time, his heart is soft and clean, and he naturally shows his body and mouth, and he gets a solemn and comfortable life. Of course, the precepts in this place are not only under the temptation, but also subtle precepts are adhered to as laws, so his body and mind naturally show a noble temperament and get this "professional freedom". "Being born at ease" means being born in three realms, being free to do whatever you want, being at ease, and going wherever you want: the first time you meditate, the day you want to go to this world, any day you can, because you keep the precepts. We usually say "this person is rich", but in fact, being rich is different from being expensive. This man likes to give alms. If this person doesn't like to keep precepts, then this person is blessed, rich in resources, well-dressed and well-dressed, but you see that he is not expensive and looks very tacky. If you like keeping precepts but don't like giving, you will be expensive, but your resources may not be sufficient. If you like to give and keep precepts when you are on the ground, you will be blessed and have special dignity. His freedom is a sense of cause and effect. This Buddha and Bodhisattva gained the freedom of body, mouth and heart, and the freedom of being born in these three industries because of keeping the precepts. "Comfortable, keep paramita is satisfied. "Victory" means that his heart can change the realm of everything. For example, you see that this place is on fire, hot and annoying; But the Bodhisattva said that fire was cold water, and it became cold water. Why? Because when Buddha and Bodhisattva were on the ground, he often practiced "forbearing paramita". What bad karma you use to stimulate him, he will have a kind of indomitable power in his heart, and he will never admit defeat under any circumstances. Every time he is stimulated, he accumulates a humiliating force, which is incredible; After this humiliating power has achieved merit, he can use that humiliating power to gain "the master of himself." You said you came to a bad environment, and he said what the environment was like. The environment followed his heart and changed. Why? Because he has accumulated a kind of strength to endure paramita in his heart. We often say that the contact between the heart and the environment is the desired environment and the clear heart. Contact between the two, the key is to see who moves first. Wind? Moving? The result is not, but the heart of the benevolent. When the heart moves, the heart is led by the environment; If you don't move, the environment will follow you. In other words, whose heart and environment are stronger? Just see who moves first, and you will know which force is strong. "Willing to be at ease, from diligence to paramita. This "wish" is the wish in my heart. The previous "victory" means that this thing has already appeared, and I will change it; This "wish" is that this matter has not yet appeared. What kind of person I hope to be in my next life. He has a wish in his heart. This man is full of troubles, so he practices "diligence" When he practices merit, he will always finish everything, stick to it and never give up. What does he do-I just need to make a wish, I will worship 3000 buddhas, and I will worship them all. What are the obstacles in this? He is completely fearless. He always sticks to the end and never gives up. He has developed such a power that this person can't make a wish in his heart. As long as he makes a wish, this will happen, because he will feel "willing to be at ease" and "diligent paramita" will make him feel "willing to be at ease." The divine power is free, which was taken by Wu Tong and completed by meditation paramita. This magical power, this place refers to the "five" kinds of gods "communication", except for eye-eye communication, ear-ear communication, destiny communication, full communication and other heart communication, which is the magical power achieved by the four meditation "paramita" of Zen. "Wisdom at ease, method at ease, completed by prajna paramita. You often hear that Buddhism, like reason and thought, produces two kinds of freedom: the first kind of "wisdom" wisdom. The wisdom in this place is that you can know the differences of the roots of all beings. As soon as you come into contact with him, you will know that this person's roots are human-natural caste, secondary caste and Mahayana caste. Even arhat doesn't have this power, because arhat doesn't want to study Buddhism extensively. The second "freedom of law", this "freedom of law" means that we can set up various methods to receive all beings, and the front is to see the root machine, which is the way to do things. In other words, you often like to study Mahayana Buddhism extensively. You have heard that Mahayana teaching is like reasoning and thinking. In the future, your wisdom will be broader than the average person. When you observe the roots of all beings and use various teaching methods, you will be much better than the average person. This is what Prajna paramita achieved. Among these ten freedoms, what he admires is that he focuses on the incarnation, that is, from the perspective of Sakyamuni Buddha, he focuses on the ten freedoms that should have been incarnated in the Eight-phase Buddha world more than 2,500 years ago.
