Class B computer room construction standard

Class B computer room construction standard is redundant computer room construction standard.

When the system needs to run, its field equipment is within the redundancy range, and the operation of the electronic information system should not be interrupted due to equipment failure.

It is mainly used in computer rooms and important control rooms of electronic information systems such as scientific research institutes, universities, tertiary hospitals, meteorological stations, information centers, disease prevention and control centers, power dispatching centers, traffic command and dispatch centers.

The construction of computer room is a systematic project. We should proceed from the needs of work, people-oriented, meet functional requirements, give consideration to aesthetics and practicality, provide safe operating space for equipment, and create a good working environment for staff engaged in computer operation.

Computer room grade classification

According to China's Code for Design of Computer Rooms of Electronic Information Systems (GB50 174-2008), data centers can be divided into three grades: A, B and C according to the nature of use, management requirements and their importance in the economy and society.

Class a is fault-tolerant. During the period when the system needs to run, the operation of the electronic information system should not be interrupted due to operational errors, equipment failure, external power interruption, maintenance and repair, etc. Grade A is the highest level, which mainly refers to the design of computer rooms involving the national economy and people's livelihood.

The interruption of its electronic information system will cause great economic losses or serious chaos in public places. Like the National Meteorological Observatory; National information center and computing center; An important military command department; Airports, radio stations, television stations and emergency command centers in large and medium-sized cities; The head office of the bank belongs to the A-class computer room.

Class b is redundant. When the system needs to run, its field equipment is within the scope of redundancy, which should not be caused by equipment failure.
