The transformation project of shanty towns in coal mines is another policy project implemented by the state to benefit the people in mining areas after the comprehensive treatment project of coal mining subsidence areas. Since the state approved the project in 2007, the first phase of the construction of residential areas No.3, No.9 and No.8 has been completed. No.8 residential area in shanty town of coal mine has a construction area of 300,000 square meters, with a planned total investment of 540 million yuan and 4 relocated households100. The construction area of the first phase project is 1.58 million square meters, and 34 residential buildings have been completed and put into use in 2009, with 2,224 relocated residents. The planned construction area of the second phase project is142,000m2, and the planned resettlement is 1876 households. The bidding work was completed in May, with an investment of 40 million yuan. The project is progressing smoothly, and it is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The construction area of No.2 residential area in shanty town of coal mine is 50,000 square meters, with a planned total investment of 77,499,438+0,000 yuan, and 664 households have been resettled in sheds. At present, the compensation for the above-ground objects has been completed and the house demolition is under way.
