The building of this cell is "big" and radial. The gray brick part was built in early Russia, with a total of 85 cells. The red brick part is the later expansion of Room 253 in Japan. The cells on each floor are arranged in two rows side by side, and an iron fence is installed in the middle of the corridor floor, which can not only be monitored by guards, but also transmit light and circulate air up and down. There is a guard desk at the junction of the three cells, and the guards can monitor the left, middle and right cells at the same time.
The special report group "Wen Hui-Re-taking the Road of Anti-Japanese War" recently came to the former site of the Russo-Japanese Prison in Lushun, Dalian. We hope to visit the revolutionaries and innocent people who were once held in this prison and listen to their memories, complaints, calls and hopes. However, no matter how fast we hurried, it was still a little late: Guo Fuchun, curator of the former museum, told us that the last friend who kept in touch with the museum and was imprisoned here, party member Huangtiecheng, died in 2004.
The former site of Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison, located in Yuanbaofang, Lushunkou District, Dalian, is a unique prison in the world. It was established by Russia in 1902. 1905 After the Japanese occupied Lushun, they took over and expanded the prison.
Walking into the gate of the old museum, we were deeply moved by the green and red prison buildings. Wang Zhenren, the former deputy director of the museum, told us that the blue brick wall showed that it was the "original work" when Russia established the prison, while the reddish-brown brick wall was the part expanded after the Japanese occupied Lushun. Different from all prisons in the world, it is a prison built and used by two imperialist countries in a third country. Not only China people are imprisoned, but also anti-war Japanese progressives and American pilots.
At first, there were only the main building and 87 cells. After the Japanese army took over, it began to expand in 1907, and the number of cells increased to 275, including not only ordinary cells, but also 4 dark cells and 18 sick cells. 1920 was renamed as "Guandong Guild Prison". 1926 was renamed as "Criminal Police Team of Kanto Guild Hall". 1939 was finally named "Lushun Criminal Police Team". It has become a hell on earth for imprisoning, persecuting and killing China people and international progressives.
The cell building of Lushun Prison is in a three-story "big" shape, and each cell is arranged in two rows side by side. We walked along the dark tunnel and could see the inside of the cell through the barbed wire on the door. Each cell is about 5.6 meters long and only 2.7 meters wide, and the whole area is only 15 square meter. In a cell, there are 8 to 10 prisoners. On the wall of each cell, there is also a prison rule written in Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The prison rules include 1 1: "Don't talk, don't face, don't lean against the wall, don't look out, don't walk around ..." If you violate the prison rules, you will be beaten by the prison guards.
