For-profit consulting organizations are mainly represented by various consulting companies, and their services are generally wide, such as international economic consulting, scientific and technological consulting, engineering consulting, accounting consulting, insurance consulting, management consulting and so on. Enterprise management consulting is a kind of extensive consulting business.

Non-profit consulting institutions are service units established or affiliated by different organizations or associations. Although these units also charge service fees, they are usually non-profit, that is, their main purpose is not to make profits.
