1.2 occupation definition
Professionals who use the professional knowledge of psychology and related disciplines, follow psychological principles, and help clients to alleviate their psychological problems through psychological counseling techniques and methods.
1.3 professional level
The occupation of psychological counselors is divided into three levels: level 3 (national vocational qualification level 3), level 2 (national vocational qualification level 2) and level 1 (national vocational qualification level 1). Note: At present, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has not issued a quantitative standard for the relevant examinations of first-level psychological counselors, and the highest is the national second level.
Since 2006, the qualification examination has adopted the new national professional standard for psychological counselors promulgated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (now Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security). The original titles of psychological counselor (national vocational qualification level 3) and senior psychological counselor (national vocational qualification level 1) were cancelled.

1.7. 1 reporting conditions
-psychological counselor level 3 (meet one of the following conditions)
-A master's degree in secondary specialty of psychological counselors (meeting one of the following conditions), and the secondary formal training of psychological counselors has reached the required standard hours and obtained a certificate of completion; Professional qualification certificate, who has been engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years in a row, has reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and has obtained a certificate of completion; -psychological counselor level (one of the following conditions)
1.7.3 identification method
It is divided into theoretical knowledge test and skill operation test. Both the theoretical knowledge test and the skill operation test adopt the closed-book written test. Both the theoretical knowledge test and the skill operation test adopt the percentile system, and those with scores above 60 respectively are qualified. Second-level and first-level psychological counselors must also pass the comprehensive evaluation. The valid period of the passing scores of the Grade III and Grade II single-subject examinations for psychological counselors is 2 years, and 1 exam can be retaken. Make-up exams are not allowed at the level of psychological counselors.
1.7.4 ratio of examiners to candidates
The ratio of examiners to candidates for theoretical knowledge examination and skill operation examination is 1: 20, and there are not less than 2 examiners in each standard classroom; The members of the comprehensive review committee shall not be less than 5.
1.7.5 evaluation time
Theoretical knowledge examination time is not less than 120 minutes; The skill operation examination time shall not be less than 120 minutes; Comprehensive evaluation time is not less than 30 minutes.
1.7.6 Identification of field equipment
The theoretical knowledge test is conducted in the standard classroom; The skill operation examination place must be equipped with multimedia equipment; The comprehensive evaluation site should be equipped with recording equipment.
