"You go and make me a bed between two Miluo trees, with your head in the north and west. My teaching methods can spread in the north recently and will prevail in the west in the future. I will go to heaven tonight. 』
Ananda and everyone were in tears. Later, everyone discussed that it was useless to cry like this. It is important to ask the Buddha how to make the future dharma last for a long time. After discussion, please recommend Ananda to the Buddha:
"Buddha! We disciples cannot help feeling sad. We finally asked the Buddha four questions:
"First, when the Buddha was alive, all of us took the Buddha as our teacher. Who will we learn from after the Buddha's nirvana?
Second, when the Buddha was alive, we were born according to the Buddha. What kind of realm should we live in after the Buddha's nirvana?
Third, when the Buddha was alive, cruel people were surrendered by the Buddha. After Buddha's nirvana, how to subdue the cruel people?
"Fourth, when the Buddha was alive, the Buddha's words and teachings were easy for everyone to believe. After the Buddha's nirvana, how to make people believe in the classic collection? 』
The Buddha kindly replied:
"Ananda! It's really important that you ask me these four questions on behalf of everyone.
"You don't be so sad. If Sharifutsu and Muyulian were still alive, they wouldn't be like you; Sakyamuni is still on the road at the moment, and I can't get there before my nirvana. You should know the legitimacy. If the Buddha lives in the world as it should, it will always be impermanent. Only when the Buddha enters nirvana and you act according to the law can the Buddha live in the world!
"I now answer your four questions, you remember:
"First, you ask me who will be the teacher after nirvana; We should learn from Mu Cha.
"Second, you asked me how to live after nirvana and how to live in the four thoughts.
"Third, you asked me how to surrender after the wicked nirvana, and I should be silent.
Fourth, you asked me how to make people believe in classics after nirvana. You should put the phrase "so I smell" in everything first.
"Ananda! You should always admire Buddha's birthplace, Buddha's enlightenment, Buddha's statement and Buddha's nirvana. The important thing is to be kind in your body, in your mouth and in your mind. Don't worry about anything else. Don't be sad now. Go to Miluo Shuangshu and make a bed for me. 』
What the Buddha said moved Ananda and everyone more! More sad!
The Buddha statue is between two trees in Miluo. Nearly 500 Lux heard that the Buddha was going to nirvana, and everyone bowed down to the Buddha. Then came another layman, bhadra, who was over 100 years old. He is a knowledgeable and moral elder among outsiders. However, I have never heard of Buddhism and have never been enlightened. On this day, I heard that Dajue Buddha was going to nirvana here, thinking that the wisdom lamp had gone out and the French ship had sunk. He had to rush to ask for Buddha with the courage to solve the mystery in his chest.
Bhadra must reach Miluo Shuangshu and pass by people kneeling underground to convert to Buddha. When Ananda served the Buddha, Ananda saw that the newcomer was a heretic and was afraid that he was coming to argue with the Buddha. He quickly blocked the way forward:
"Please don't bother the Buddha, the Buddha will be nirvana tonight. 』
Must be badra asked Ananda honour person:
"It is because I heard that the Buddha is going to nirvana that I came. At this time, I feel that Buddha is hard to meet and Buddhism stinks. Please help me. There is a mystery in my heart that must be solved by Buddha! 』
At that time, Ananda was politely declined again and again, while Barak was repeatedly requested. The compassionate Buddha, who gave up all sentient beings, heard the voice of the seeker, that is, shouted, Amo:
"Ananda! He didn't come to argue with me. He is my last disciple, Xu Potala. Let me reassure him and let him meet me. 』
Ananda had no choice but to introduce Potala to the Buddha. Potala was very happy and asked:
"Buddha! All shamanism, Brahmanism and six outsiders in the world say that they are all wise men, and all religions except him are cults. What you are doing is the road to liberation, and others are going astray. So blame each other, how can you tell good from evil? What is the standard of right and wrong? How can we get rid of it? 』
The Buddha replied with a smile:
“bhadra！ Your question is very good, and I am glad to answer it for you. No matter which practitioner in the world does not know the three dharma seals of impermanence, selflessness and nirvana silence, it is impossible to know the root of all dharma. If he doesn't practice the eight holy ways of right view, mindfulness, righteousness, righteousness, righteousness, diligence, mindfulness and righteousness, he is not a real monk and he will not be free.
“bhadra！ Who in the world has three dharma seals and eight sacred ways? I tell you with the truth that only the Buddha's teaching method can have the Eight Sacred Paths, only the Buddha's teaching method can have a truly liberated Samana, and only the Buddha is a wise man.
“bhadra！ Observing the teachings of heretics, they don't follow the three dharma seals, and there is no eight sacred ways. Of course, there will be no free monks. Although they said there was, it was only a lie.
“bhadra！ Born in the palace on the eighth day of April eighty years ago, he became fascinated by six heretics when he was taught. I went home on the eighth day of February at the age of 19, and became a monk under the bodhi tree on the eighth day of December at the age of 31. Today is February 15th, when I am eighty years old, and I am nirvana among Miluo trees at midnight.
“bhadra！ Since I became a Taoist, there really has been a Saman in this world. After my nirvana, I left Buddhism on earth, and the believers were freed. Buddhism is really the source of all wisdom. 』
When bhadra heard the voice of the Buddha's truth, the fog in his heart suddenly became clear, and he immediately proved that Arhat grosvenor. He bowed to the sacred face of the Buddha and vowed to become the last disciple of the Buddha, first entering nirvana next to the Buddha. Everyone was very moved when they saw it.
The Buddha was lying on the bed between two Miluo trees in a lucky posture. Many disciples surrounded the Buddha, and everyone wiped their noses and tears. At this time, the wind in Lin Jing stopped, birds and animals stopped singing, water dripped on the skin of trees, and all the flowers withered and withered. The whole world is lonely and depressed.
The Buddha's quiet heart, as usual, quietly made a final legacy to his disciples:
"Monk disciples! After my nirvana, you should respect and cherish Borotti Mu Cha, do good deeds and don't forget. Commandments are to guide your master. You keep them, just like the poor get treasures, just like lighting a lamp in the dark. This is no different from my life.
"Monk disciples! You should spread the doctrine, engage in the truth movement of self-interest and altruism, save people and save the world, don't be greedy for money, and don't sell and trade in order to settle in farmland and houses. You monks are all self-reliant, so don't worry about life.
"Monk disciples! You should abide by Buddhism, don't use each other's good and bad luck to spell magic medicine, don't make friends with noble people, be kind, slow, temperate and clean; We should be honest and upright, and don't be different and confusing.
"Monk disciples! You should control the six, and don't let the six chase the six dust, so as not to be sloppy and degenerate. It's like managing a fierce and vicious horse. You must use the halter system, otherwise you will lead people into a trap. Evil horses harm people only for a lifetime, and harm people for generations. This cannot but attract people's attention.
"Monk disciples! The six elements of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind are all based on the heart, and everyone should manage the heart well. The human heart is more terrible than poisonous snakes, evil beasts and thieves. Just like a man holding a honey picker in his hand, he is light and light, looking at honey picking, but he can't see the front steps, and there is a pit. Indulge your mind, just like a crazy elephant without a hook. Apes can gain a tree and lose all good deeds, so you should be diligent in monasticism and live in a quiet realm.
"Monk disciples! When receiving dietary support, we should think about taking medicine, and neither good nor bad should increase or decrease. Don't be greedy. Eating is just to nourish your body and get rid of hunger and thirst. Eat as bees gather flowers and honey, but take its taste without damaging its fragrance. Don't ask too many questions, so as not to destroy its goodness.
"Monk disciples! If a wicked person comes to hurt you, you should take care of yourself and don't think about hatred; You should keep your mouth shut and don't say vicious words. You know, if you indulge your mind, you can hinder monasticism, break all good laws, get a bad reputation and lose all the treasures of merit. The virtues of forbearance, abstinence and asceticism cannot be achieved. People who can bear it are all powerful adults! If you can't endure the poison of abuse with joy, like drinking dew, then you can't be called a wise man.
"Monk disciples! You should not be arrogant, arrogant, deceitful and stingy, but should be correct and have quality.
"Monk disciples! You know, the more people want, the more they suffer; Want fewer people to live in a stable world. If you want to get rid of your troubles, you must be satisfied, and the way to be satisfied is the way to happiness.
"Monk disciples! If you are diligent in preaching and practicing Buddhism, there will be no difficulties. No matter how big or small, it is like a trickle, and you can also cut stones through mountains and enter the vast rivers and seas. Otherwise, we often neglect the housework and the cause of promoting Buddhism, just like saving firewood and making a fire, we will rest before it is hot. Although we want to make a fire, how can the fire go out automatically?
"Monk disciples! If you don't forget mindfulness, all troubles and demons can't invade. You should be brave generals, wearing heavy armor and holding the blade of meditation to conquer the magic army in the realm of six dust; Wear the sword of wisdom, know the laws of life and death in the world, and subdue all sufferings.
"Monk disciples! In the sea of life and death, you should support the boat of wisdom, cross the turbid current that fools love to cling to, burn the light of wisdom, and walk through the world without light and shade. It is often with the wisdom of literature that one can enter the realm of three demons.
"Monk disciples! You should remember what I said, don't forget. I'm like a good doctor, knowing the disease, taking medicine, eating or not, the blame is not on the doctor; I am also like a good guide, guiding people to be good, but the listener can't do it, and the guide is not there.
"Monk disciples! The four noble truths and twelve karma I mentioned are the truth of cosmic life. I am going to nirvana today. If you have any questions, please ask me at once and I will answer them for you. 』
The night is very quiet, there is no other sound, only the voice of the Buddha, the moonlight is particularly bright, meteors across the sky, monks dare not breathe, listening to the Buddha's last French. Finally, the Buddha asked everyone about the four noble truths and twelve karma, so you can ask them. In this way, everyone was silent, because there is no doubt. At that time, the first eye said to the Buddha:
"Buddha! We know the truth about the four noble truths and the twelve karma. In this world, the moon can make it hot and the sun can make it cold. The Buddha's four noble truths are inseparable from the teaching method of twelve causes. 』
The Buddha was quiet and showed no signs of fatigue. Is this the Buddha who is about to enter nirvana? It's hard to understand that all monks are sobbing sadly.
