Geography and Geographic Information Science is a comprehensive academic journal of geography (bimonthly), a core journal of Chinese in China, a core journal of science and technology in China, and a source journal of citation database of China Academy of Sciences. It is publicly distributed at home and abroad. Its task is: persist in facing economic construction and scientific research and development, and concentrate on reflecting new theories, technologies, methods and achievements of geography and geographic information science. The publication covers theoretical geography (departmental geography and regional geography) and geographic information science, and focuses on the latest research results of national natural science foundation projects, national key laboratory fund projects, national key science and technology projects and international cooperation projects. The main columns are: 3S research and application, digital land, environment and ecology, regional economy, tourism development, sustainable development research, thematic research, geographical progress and so on. Warmly welcome researchers in this field to contribute to this journal.
Submission requirements and precautions:
1. The manuscript should have a clear theme, sufficient arguments, distinct levels, concise words, accurate language and reliable data, and the cited materials should indicate the source. The content of the manuscript should not involve state secrets, and the responsibility should be borne by the author. The full text (including Chinese and English abstracts, charts and references) should be 8000 words long.
2. Please attach electronic documents (including attachments), Chinese and English abstracts (including title, author, unit, postcode and keywords) and English chart titles.
3. For the research papers of national, provincial and ministerial funded projects and key research projects, please indicate the name and number of the funded projects in the footnotes on the front page.
4. All titles and title numbers at all levels in the manuscript are required to be written in the top box, and the title numbers are classified in the standard form of 1, 1, 1, 1.1.
Please write the manuscript according to the national standards and norms of scientific papers. All units of measurement in this paper use national legal units and are represented by standard symbols, such as hm2 for hectares. All technical terms shall be used according to the latest published standards; Terms, units of measurement, names and place names of the same noun are required to be consistent in the whole text.
6. The chart in this article should be concise and necessary. 1) The table format is a three-line table with Chinese and English titles at the top; 2) Illustrations should be drawn by microcomputer, and vector diagrams should be provided as far as possible. For maps involving national boundaries, please draw according to the latest standard maps of Map Publishing House; 3) Drawing requirements: The text in the drawing is Song No.6, the variable symbols are italicized, the constant symbols, chemical symbols and units are positive, the notes in the drawing should be clear, the legend should be placed in the drawing, and the Chinese and English drawing names should be placed at the bottom of the drawing; 4) Map size: the horizontal size of the semi-column chart is less than 7.8cm, and the horizontal size of the column chart is less than 16.8cm. The chart is placed at the end of the natural paragraph where the chart is first mentioned in the text.
7. The mathematical formula in this paper is written in the middle of another line, paying attention to the law of career change; Pay attention to the writing of foreign letters in the formula, such as language type, case, italics, upper and lower angles, etc.
8. If you extract or quote other people's works in the manuscript, please indicate the name of the original author, the name of the work and its source according to the relevant provisions of the Copyright Law. References only list published documents (unofficial publications are marked with footnotes on the corresponding page numbers), and references and footnotes are marked with footnotes [1] and ① in the corresponding positions in the text respectively. In English literature, the author's surname comes first (all surnames are capitalized) and the first name comes last, with a space between the surname and the first name. Its name can be abbreviated with initials, but without abbreviations. For example, the literature of J.C.Cowan is described as Cowan J.C.
