Qilu University of Technology is located in Jinan, a national historical and cultural city. It was integrated by the former Qilu University of Technology and Shandong Academy of Sciences. Its history can be traced back to Jiaodong Industrial School founded by 1948 in the liberated areas and Shandong Branch of China Academy of Sciences founded by 1958. It is a key applied research university and the largest comprehensive natural science research institution in Shandong Province. From June 5438 to February 2023, the school was selected as a high-level university in Shandong Province to build a first-class university, which started a new journey of building a "domestic first-class and internationally influential" applied research university.
