National medical insurance drug list query

In order to ensure employees' basic medical drugs and reasonably control drug costs, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security officially promulgated the national basic medical insurance drug list on May 25th, 2000. The list was produced after many demonstrations and procedures such as drug classification by expert consultation group, drawing up alternative list, and organizing more than 0/000 selection experts nationwide to vote.

The selection of national basic medical insurance drug list adheres to five principles:

1. The principle of ensuring employees' safe and effective medication. All drugs included in the national basic medical insurance drug list must be included in People's Republic of China (PRC) Pharmacopoeia, or meet the national ministerial standards, or officially imported.

2. The principle of ensuring the basic medical needs of employees. The drugs listed in the catalogue must be therapeutic drugs, excluding some kinds of drugs that mainly play a nourishing role.

3. The principle of encouraging and supporting the progress of medical science and technology. Clinical practice has proved that new drugs with good curative effect, reasonable price and convenient use should be included as much as possible.

Four. Adhere to the principle of smooth transition between old and new medication methods. The drug list should reflect the changes of workers' drug demand in recent years, and the scope of drug selection should be determined on the condition that it enters the scope of reimbursement for public expenses and labor insurance medical care in most provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

5. Adhere to the principles of scientificity, impartiality and authority. In the process of formulating the national basic medical insurance drug list, we should always respect experts and science, adhere to openness, justice and fairness, and organize clinical medical experts at different levels throughout the country to select drugs to ensure the scientific and extensive use of basic medical insurance drugs. The promulgation of the National Catalogue of Medicines for Basic Medical Insurance has standardized the management of the scope of medicines for basic medical insurance, and at the same time, the Interim Measures for the Management of the scope of medicines for basic medical insurance for urban workers have been promulgated, which has guaranteed the basic medical needs of workers. All employees who participate in the basic medical insurance, using Class A and B drugs in the catalogue and Chinese herbal pieces outside the catalogue, can be reimbursed according to the proportion stipulated by various localities.

The catalogue released this time includes three parts: western medicine, Chinese patent medicine (including ethnic medicine) and Chinese herbal pieces. Among them, there are 9 13 varieties of western medicine, 575 varieties of Chinese patent medicine and 47 varieties of ethnic medicine. Chinese herbal pieces include 28 kinds and L types (all kinds of animal organs and fetuses, whips, tails, tendons and bones except endothelium corneum Gigeriae Galli) at their own expense when used alone. Among western medicine and Chinese patent medicine, there are two categories: A and B, western medicine 327 and Chinese patent medicine 135. There are 586 kinds of Class B western medicines and 440 kinds of Chinese patent medicines. Class A drugs are uniformly implemented throughout the country and may not be changed everywhere; All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have the right to adjust 15% of Class B drugs. The general price of Class B drugs is higher than that of Class A drugs, and the proportion of individual payment is also higher than that of Class A drugs. The specific payment standards shall be formulated by the overall planning areas.
