The product of "Atomic Self-assembled Nanosphere Solid Lubricant" has passed the appraisal committee composed of experts and scholars from China Equipment Management Association, Ecological Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Energy Comprehensive Utilization Monitoring Center of Ministry of Communications and Tsinghua University Friction Laboratory. The expert group believes that the composition design and preparation process are innovative, which fills the technical gap of alloy-based additives for lubricating oil and reaches the international leading level in alloy-based additives. At the same time, the expert group organized by the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province believes that the additive used in this technology is an alloy-based component with icosahedral atomic cluster structure, which has the performance characteristics of high hardness, low Young's modulus and low surface energy, and can improve the lubrication effect as a lubricating oil additive.
In 2009, "Atomic Self-assembled Nanosphere Solid Lubricant" was listed as a national key energy-saving product for vehicle and boat promotion and operation by People's Republic of China (PRC) and Ministry of Communications. In the same year, it was rated as "National Key Popularized Technology Product" by Environmental Protection Equipment and Technology Promotion Center of China Equipment Management Association, and listed as "20 10 National Torch Program Project" by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 20 10.
