Plastic cups made of PC have good transparency and toughness, and are not easy to break, so they are more suitable for families, hotels and other occasions. However, the cup made of PC may release substances harmful to human body at high temperature, so it is not suitable for hot drinking.
3.PE material
PE plastic cups are mainly used for short-term use, such as disposable tableware, because PE is fragile and easy to break, so it is not suitable for hot drinks.
The manufacturing process of plastic cups usually includes the following steps:
Material preparation: raw materials, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), etc.
1. Put the prepared plastic raw materials into an injection molding machine, a blow molding machine or a thermoforming machine for processing. The specific operation varies according to the different treatment methods.
2. Heat the plastic particles or sheets to a molten state, then inject the molten plastic into the mold through an injection molding machine, and take out the plastic cup after cooling and curing.
3. Heating the plastic particles to a molten state, then injecting the molten plastic into the prefabricated mold by a blow molding machine, expanding the plastic thin wall into a cup shape by air pressure inflation, and finally taking out the plastic cup.
4. Heat the plastic sheet or film to a plastic state, then stick the plastic sheet on the mold with a thermoforming machine, and peel off the mold after cooling to obtain the plastic cup.
5. After the plastic cup is cooled, some subsequent processing steps may be needed, such as removing corners, cleaning the surface, printing or labeling, so that the plastic cup can meet the final appearance and quality requirements.
