How to treat infertility?

According to the standards of the World Health Organization, infertility means that both husband and wife have not taken any contraceptive measures within two years, maintained normal sexual life and failed to get pregnant. But as far as the current clinical situation is concerned, basically, if both husband and wife are not pregnant within a year or so, they may be infertile.

According to the survey, the infertility rate in the world is as high as 15%-20%, and there are about 40 million infertile men and women in China, accounting for 12%- 15% of the total population. Infertility leads to more and more family problems between husband and wife. Among infertile couples, male factor accounts for about 22%, female factor accounts for 365,438+0-37%, and both male and female factors account for 265,438+0-38%. 、

There is little information about this in China. A hospital in Beijing once conducted an epidemiological survey in a certain area. The prevalence rate of primary infertility in this area is 1.0 1%, which is slightly higher in urban areas (1.23%) than in rural areas (0.8%), which may be related to the low infection rate of sexually transmitted diseases and reproductive tract in China at that time.

Why is infertility more and more frequent? What caused it?

Living environment and habits become the cause of disease.

-1- external environment

Environmental estrogen, exposure to radiation or electromagnetic fields, toxic chemicals (indoor decoration pollution, etc. ), smoking and drinking, drug factors, high temperature operation (welders, chefs, etc.). ) may lead to male infertility.

The first category: decoration pollution. At present, decoration materials, including furniture paint, contain some radioactive and volatile substances, which may be the factors affecting reproductive health.

Category II: Chemicals. The hairdressing industry is exposed to chemical dyes every day, whether it is hair dye or perming agent, there are many volatile chemical properties in it. I have seen several hairdressers, and the semen quality is not good. One patient stopped doing it after I mobilized. After a period of time, the quality of semen improved obviously.

-2- Bad habits

Sedentary and lazy: men who are sedentary for a long time and wear tight underwear will cause poor blood supply to the pelvic floor and affect prostate function.

Emotional stress: Husband and wife and their families should not blame each other, because emotional instability may also cause spermatogenesis and sexual dysfunction. According to statistics, male infertility caused by emotional abnormality accounts for about 5% of all infertile patients.

Additives and junk food: A lot of food additives are added to many foods, which are harmless at a certain safe dose, but if they are eaten in excess for a long time, they will be harmful to human body, not to mention the impact on human fertility. Some factors, such as pesticide residues and excessive hormones in some foods, are endangering human health, affecting human hormones and having a certain impact on female ovulation.

Excessive nutritional supplement: Many women take health care products for pregnancy, and there are no taboos. As we all know, eating too many kinds of nutrients will destroy the balance of hormones in the body, cause obesity, less menstrual flow and other symptoms, affect the endocrine system, cause ovarian dysfunction, cause ovulation disorder, lead to infertility, and obese pregnant women are prone to diabetes syndrome, thus affecting endocrine and reproductive functions.

Alcohol and tobacco stimulation: Nowadays, people have more contact and great pressure, especially some young white-collar workers have high wages. Want to relieve stress, drink and chat at night. Alcohol and tobacco are not only harmful to your health, but also affect your sperm production ability. We often have some social activities, and we know that if we drink too much, we will feel uncomfortable the next day. The damage to our health can be imagined. In an animal experiment, keeping mice in cages and giving them five cigarettes a day will lead to the decline of semen quality for ten days to half a month.

Staying up late for a long time: Nowadays, young people stay up late, and many jobs are done at night, such as creative work. In some cases, they may have to stay up late. Staying up late is the most important factor affecting semen secretion and quality.

See a doctor if you are sick: be positive, go to a regular hospital for medical treatment, don't be afraid of illness, don't blindly listen to folk remedies, don't believe that the more expensive the medicine, the better, and don't change hospitals and doctors frequently.

From the woman's point of view, the causes of infertility are roughly as follows:

-1- ovulation disorder

There are many kinds of ovulation disorders. Polycystic ovary, premature ovarian failure and even some congenital ovarian dysplasia are the main causes of ovulation disorders.

-2- Tubal blockage

Tubal obstruction can be divided into primary and secondary. Primary type refers to tubal nowhere caused by congenital dysplasia and malformation, and secondary type refers to some chronic inflammation caused by abortion or tubal obstruction caused by chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and hydrops.

-3- The fertilized egg cannot be implanted.

Sperm and egg combine to form a fertilized egg, which swims in the uterine cavity and lands in a certain part of the uterine cavity, that is, it is fixed, that is, attached to the endometrium, and then begins to implant and take root, thus establishing maternal and infant blood flow.

The mother supplies blood and oxygen to the child through blood flow, and the embryo begins to grow up gradually. The process of this fertilized egg landing is called implantation. At present, from the clinical experience, female infertility is largely due to the failure of fertilized eggs to implant in the endometrium, which makes the fertilized eggs unable to develop further.

Male infertility has three physiological factors.

There are three reasons for male infertility:

The first category is pre-testicular factors. Most of the pre-statistical factors are endocrine factors. For example, the problems of pituitary gland and hypothalamus will cause poor microcirculation and microenvironment of testis, leading to spermatogenesis disorder. There are many diseases, such as Kalman syndrome, which are characterized by hypogonadism in some patients with hypogonadism, such as small testis and low FSH and LH secreted by pituitary gland. Of course, there are many factors.

The second category is called testicular factor. Testicular factors, such as testicular cryptorchidism, affect testicular growth and sperm production, and there are some congenital chromosomal abnormalities, such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. These all come down to testicular factors, orchitis, epididymitis and so on.

The third category is called posttesticular factor. Most of the post-testicular factors are problems in the output pipeline after sperm production, such as vas deferens obstruction, seminal vesicle inflammation, ejaculatory duct obstruction, sexual dysfunction and so on. These are all considered as posttesticular factors. Of course, there are many factors that need to be subdivided or classified according to other categories, such as infection factors, endocrine factors, immune factors and so on.

How do girls improve the quality of eggs? What needs to be done? What food to eat?

Women's fertility began to decline at the age of 32, and declined rapidly after the age of 37. The best childbearing age for women is 25-34 years old.

Therefore, female compatriots should scientifically understand the natural law of fertility. The student is born, especially if there is a two-child plan. Otherwise, when they are ready to have two treasures, they will face the helplessness of wanting to conceive but it is difficult to conceive. Women over 35 years old and pregnant for more than 6 months should receive further examination and treatment.

For women over 40 years old, fertility assessment and corresponding fertility treatment should be carried out immediately.

Shadow female friends who improve their lifestyle and avoid environmental factors need to maintain good living habits if they want to get healthy and high-quality eggs.

Appropriate and reasonable exercise or related physical exercise should be carried out to enhance physical fitness and life rules, work and rest on time, quit smoking and drinking, and avoid overeating and nutritional imbalance. For obese women, losing weight is the most important way to improve pregnancy success rate and embryo quality.

Develop healthy eating habits.

1, the key is to have enough high-quality protein, and the daily total intake of protein is not less than 60g. Engels said, "Without protein, there would be no life", and protein was supplemented with high-quality reproductive nutrition during pregnancy.

2. Adequate vitamin and mineral supplements, focusing on folic acid, B vitamins, zinc, calcium and selenium.

3. Adequate dietary fiber, 25-30g/ day.

4. Eat less sugar. Limit direct sugars such as white sugar, glucose and fructose, and choose macromolecular carbohydrates such as starch, rice and corn.

5, low fat. If there is less animal fat, you can choose vegetable fat to meet the daily intake of no more than 25g/ day.

How do boys eat good sperm?

1 First of all, we must ensure sufficient high-quality protein.

As the saying goes, "Without protein, there would be no life". Protein is an important part of cells and an important raw material for producing sperm. Reasonable supplementation of foods rich in high-quality reproductive nutrition protein is beneficial to coordinate male endocrine function and improve the quantity and quality of sperm.

Arginine is an amino acid, and it also participates in many important life activities in human body, which is extremely beneficial to men, because arginine is an essential amino acid synthesized by male germ cells, and arginine is an essential component of sperm formation, which can enhance sperm motility and help maintain the stable operation of male reproductive system.

2. Reasonable supplementation of minerals and trace elements.

Minerals and trace elements in human body have the same important influence on male fertility.

The most common elements are zinc and selenium, which are involved in the synthesis and transportation of male testosterone, and help to improve the ability of reproductive physiological activities such as sperm activity and fertilization.

Zinc can regulate immune system function and improve sperm motility in vivo. Zinc deficiency in human body will lead to the decrease of sperm number, the increase of abnormal sperm number, the decline of sexual and reproductive functions, and even infertility;

Selenium deficiency will reduce the energy source needed for sperm activity and reduce sperm motility.

3, vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin C, B vitamins.

Some foods with high vitamin content are of great help to improve the quality of sperm survival.

Both vitamin A and vitamin E have the effects of delaying aging and slowing down sexual function decline, and also have a good effect on sperm production and improving sperm vitality.

Vitamin C is also a good antioxidant. Vitamin C can resist aging, promote metabolism, enhance immunity and promote iron absorption. When supplementing iron, it is advisable to supplement vitamin C.

B vitamins can eliminate fatigue and enhance energy, especially in summer and autumn, when the weather is hot, people are prone to fatigue. People should eat more foods rich in B vitamins, such as pork, eel, eggs, yellow-green vegetables and brown rice.

Tip: It takes about 3 months for sperm to be produced in vivo and excreted. Therefore, it takes at least 3 months to improve sperm quality.
