According to the Guiding Opinions on School Enrollment in Compulsory Education Stage of 20 18 in Nanjing (hereinafter referred to as "Opinions"), from April 9 to 13, each district will announce its implementation plan for school enrollment in compulsory education stage.
The "Opinions" suggest that all districts should formulate their own enrollment implementation plans around the goal of high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education to ensure the degree of compulsory education for every school-age child and teenager. It is necessary to expand the coverage of quality education resources by scientifically delineating teaching areas, coordinating the flow of principals and teachers, merging and hosting prestigious schools, and running schools in groups. All districts should continue to implement computer allocation of spare places in hot schools in accordance with the two "no less than" (the number of computer allocation schools is not less than last year and the number of computer allocation plans is not less than last year) to ensure that the enrollment of compulsory education in 20 18 years conforms to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education.
The "Opinions" require that private primary schools and junior high schools enroll students as planned without examination, and they are not allowed to select students by unified written examination or any disguised unified knowledge examination, and they are not allowed to enroll students beyond the plan. When the number of students enrolled in private junior high schools exceeds the enrollment plan, computer allocation and independent enrollment will be implemented, and the ratio of computer allocation and independent enrollment will still be 2:8 in 20 18. The enrollment plan of each private school shall be audited by the District Education Bureau and announced to the public after being reported to the Municipal Education Bureau for the record.
In 20 18, Nanjing Foreign Languages School enrolled 380 students (including English, German, Japanese and French). Students sign up for voluntary service abroad in primary schools. If the number of applicants exceeds 8 times of the enrollment plan, the list of students taking the ability test will still be determined by computer allocation. The ability test method is face-to-face test. The content of the face-to-face examination is strictly in accordance with the primary school curriculum standards, and it is strictly forbidden to involve the content of "Olympic Mathematics", focusing on the comprehensive quality and English ability of students. The form of face-to-face examination is to present the main points of the examination through multimedia, and students will answer them on the spot. The interview time is 60 minutes. The enrollment policy of Nanjing Foreign Language School in German, Japanese and French remains unchanged. The enrollment plan is: German 16 students, Japanese 12 students and French 16 students.
The "Opinions" clarify that compulsory education ordinary schools and special education schools should actively accept special children and adolescents with vision, hearing, speech, limbs, intelligence, spirit and various disabilities in the region according to regulations, and strictly achieve "zero rejection". Compulsory education ordinary schools shall not refuse school-age special children and adolescents who meet the conditions of regular classes after educational diagnosis and evaluation for any reason, or return to school after suspension from school and rehabilitation.
The "Opinions" clarify that relevant junior high schools approved by the provincial education administrative departments can recruit students with sports and art specialties, and other schools may not enroll students in the name of special students. Schools that recruit special students in sports and art shall be organized by the municipal and district education administrative departments to test and enroll students at relevant professional levels.
