What is the student ID card like?

As shown in the figure:

Article 2 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates: "The schooling age and years of school-age children and adolescents who receive compulsory education, as well as the schooling age that needs to be extended due to delayed schooling or other special circumstances, shall be determined by the provincial people's government according to the provisions of the Compulsory Education Law and the actual situation in the region." Therefore, the deadline for students to enter school is stipulated by the provinces according to the law, and there is no unified regulation in the whole country.

The national information management system of primary and secondary school students' enrollment status provides the function of controlling the deadline for admission, but the provincial education administrative department has been authorized to set the deadline by itself.

The student registration number starting with the word G in the expansion materials is one person and one number, which will accompany the students throughout their study career. There are also j prefixes and l prefixes.

G prefix: compare the data of students who have not been assigned the official student status number with the national population basic information database, assign the official student status number with the prefix "G" after passing, and distribute it through the student status system after the start of the spring semester every year.

The official student status number prefixed with "G" has passed a series of rigorous tests such as national duplicate checking and comparison of national population basic information database, and is an authoritative symbol of student identity. In principle, it is not allowed to delete the official student number with the prefix "G". If it is really necessary to delete the student status of the problem student, the provincial education administrative department shall submit the certification materials to the Ministry of Education for processing.
