Introduction of scenic spots
Jinci Temple was founded in 386 AD in the Northern Wei Dynasty. There are more than 100 buildings, 100 sculptures, more than 400 stone tablets, more than 20,000 ancient trees and many cultural relics here, which are very rare. Notre Dame, the main hall of Jinci, was built in the Song Dynasty. There are 43 colored clay sculptures in the hall, all of which are original sculptures of the Song Dynasty, except for the statuettes on both sides of the Notre Dame statue.

Longshan Grottoes belong to the national key cultural relics protection units, and it is the largest existing Taoist grottoes group in Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 127 1 ~ 1368) in China. Located at the top of Longshan Mountain, 20 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, the main cave was dug in the sixth to eleventh year of Emperor Taizong of Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 1234 ~ 1239). ***8 caves, namely, the virtual emperor niche, Sanqing niche, Lie Ru niche, Zhen Xuan niche, exorcism niche, Qizhen niche and two Taoist niches.

Mengshan Buddha

Mengshan Giant Buddha, also known as Xishan Giant Buddha, was originally a cliff Buddha statue behind Mengshan Kaihua Temple. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, Mengshan Buddha was destroyed.
1980, Mengshan Giant Buddha was rediscovered. When it was discovered, the Buddha's head had disappeared, and the Buddha's body was buried by earth and stone, which was severely weathered.
The height from the bottom of the leg to the neck is about 30 meters, and the original height is about 46 meters. The head of the current giant Buddha was newly chiseled by later generations.
