In fact, the conditions of the house before the renovation are not unbearable, but there is a gap with my ideal home, especially the bunk beds in the children's room. Because the two children are still young, it makes me uneasy to let them climb up and down. In addition, the enclosed kitchen space is really too narrow, and it is boring to cook by yourself. I can't manage the activities of two children, which is very inconvenient for me, so I have the idea of redecorating for five years.
During the construction, it will take about four months. Fortunately, there is a house in the same community to short rent, so that our family of four can stay temporarily, and the route to work and class at ordinary times will not be affected by moving. What's more troublesome is that some sundries have to be moved up and down, which is really tiring! But because we live close, we can always look at the construction situation and discuss it with the designer. My husband and children watched the old decoration being demolished, and then slowly became our dream home day by day. It was really wonderful!
Second, the decoration needs and ideas are sorted out. Personally, I prefer warm Japanese wood elements, which can make the home look warm and the space outside the room and bathroom does not need too much barrier. After work, even if the family is doing different things, they can chat with each other and share life trivia. These are very important to me, so I put forward the following decoration ideas with the designer-

1. Open kitchen: You can chat with your family while cooking, and you can also monitor the movements of two children at any time (laughs).
2. Study: My husband and I both like reading. We encourage children to read and buy a lot of books, so we need a study room, which can also be used as a place for children to do their homework.
3. Children's room: In the past, the bunk beds in children's rooms were too small, so I didn't trust them to climb up and down. Originally, I wanted them to have a room, but I didn't expect two preserved eggs to show that they were used to living in one room, so I asked the designer to plan a spacious room for their two brothers ~

3. Comparison before and after renovation This is the plan before and after renovation. The red line is the wall we demolished this time. Before the renovation, the four rooms were really crowded ... In addition, the dressing room in the master bedroom was in a strange position and it was not smooth to use. Therefore, in the adjustment of the pattern, the designer changed the original four rooms into three rooms, re-planned the main bedroom, connected the dressing room with the bathroom, and distributed the space of one of the second bedrooms to the children's room and kitchen.
The original porch of the porch living room has a porch cabinet and partition screen, which makes the whole public space feel divided into two halves, and the moving line in use also makes people feel Kaka's, so the designer designed a shoe cabinet on the wall after entering the door, which is convenient to put on and take off shoes as soon as you enter the door. The color matching part uses the wooden elements with white tones that I like, which makes the whole show the living temperature and warmth of home ~

Restaurant, look at this contrast ~ is it much worse! Because the study and kitchen were changed into open spaces, the dining table and kitchen were connected. After removing unnecessary cabinets, the whole sense of space is more open, and with my favorite wooden and white elements, I have a full sense of life!
The kitchen is the place where I spend the most time except sleeping in the whole family! I changed the original closed design into an open one, so that I wouldn't feel locked in a closed space when cooking. In addition, the designer also helped me build an easy-to-use electric cabinet and a working platform for cooking food ~

Children's room This is the bunk bed children's room I mentioned above. I was really worried about letting two children sleep here before. After the renovation, I have room for two single beds, so I am more relieved that the children don't have to climb up and down ~

On the bathroom wall, we chose dark green railway bricks with gray hexagonal bricks to make the whole look different from the original atmosphere ~

Fourth, other spaces share the living room. Because there is no special separation between the porch and the living room, the designer separated the dusty area with well-cleaned tiles and wooden floors, and made a hollowed-out shoe cabinet in the left-hand space after entering the door, which is convenient for putting on and taking off shoes ~ In addition, our family did not make too many cabinets, and the TV wall was relatively simple. My husband and I discussed it. We all think it's good to have enough cabinets, otherwise doing too many cabinets will only get more and more crowded. In addition, I really practiced breaking up, not buying unnecessary things (of course, I accidentally missed them ...) to avoid too much chaos at home ~

There are two bookshelves in the study room, where we can put books. In addition, it is also a space for children to write homework. One of the walls is blackboard paint, and sometimes children and children will put together puzzles, draw pictures and play with toys here to cultivate parent-child feelings (laughs).

The kitchen is separated by a half wall made of wood, which is a double-sided functional design. On one side is the deep flow counter, and on the other side is the shallow magazine rack, where I can put my usual cookbooks and children's paintings. The open half-wall design also allows me to pay attention to the children's dynamics while cooking, and my husband can chat with him at any time while watching TV in the living room. The hook on the top is also convenient for placing some commonly used bottles and cans, which is convenient for cooking.

There is also a bookshelf in the master bedroom, dressing room and master bedroom, and a small window is made above the bookshelf to make the bathroom slightly transparent and avoid getting wet. The two cross-shaped things beside the bed are wall lamps. When my husband and I are sleeping, if the other person needs to read, we can not interfere with each other. Besides, we think it's enough to be in the locker room, but the cabinets in the sky will be too depressing.

Children's Room This is the room of two brothers, and some simple cabinets have been made to store their daily necessities. The wall between the two beds is made into an inner doorway, like the concept of a bedside table, where they can put some commonly used items.

When I was preparing dinner in the kitchen, I turned to see the sunset falling from the big window of the living room. Really feel so happy ~ after the transformation, the structure has been reorganized, and the space designed according to your own needs is smoother in use. My husband and children are very satisfied.
In addition, I would like to thank designer Shen Peiyi and designer Wang Weijun, who were on the 1 1 sunny day. From proposal to completion, it can be said that it is full of twists and turns. Because the house had to be demolished internally just after the earthquake, the community management Committee was worried that the demolition process would affect the structure of the whole house. A lot of documents were needed, and many nails were applied back and forth, which delayed the construction period for almost one month. But the designers helped me deal with these annoying things, and the demolition project, which originally took a week, caught up in a few months.
I remember when the house was almost finished, I asked the designer to help me install the chandelier I bought. As a result, the designer not only helped me install it, but also bought a light bulb for me to install, and left a note telling me what kind of light bulb to use. Really super touched! From the beginning to the completion of the renovation, watching my dreamer finish the process slowly is really full of surprises, which makes me more willing to stay at home!
