Zhuhai's position in China
Zhuhai is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province, located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province. It is a China Special Economic Zone approved by the State Council and an important node city in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Zhuhai is the core city and coastal scenic tourist city on the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, and it is also the city with the largest ocean area and the most islands in the Pearl River Delta.
Zhuhai is one of the earliest special economic zones established in China, which was established in 1979 and 1980 respectively. It is also one of the representative cities of Guangfu culture.
