Shanghai Fire Museum is a national AA-level tourist attraction and popular science education base.

Shanghai Fire Museum is located at No.207, Zhongshan West Road, Changning District, with a venue area of about 2,400 square meters. The museum was put into trial operation on August 1 2007 and officially opened on August165438+1October 9, 2007. At present, it is a first-class professional museum in China, with the world advanced level.

Shanghai Fire Museum has a collection of more than 265,438+0,000 pieces, including many modern Shanghai fire-fighting cultural relics with great historical value, such as early personal fire-fighting equipment, fire engines and automatic fire-fighting devices. Through the exhibitions in various exhibition areas, visitors can fully understand the leap from gestation to glory of Shanghai's fire protection cause.

Shanghai Fire Museum was officially opened to the public on June 5438+065438+1October 9, 2007. Now it is the national popular science education base, Shanghai popular science characteristic venue and Shanghai second-phase curriculum reform teaching venue.

The whole museum is divided into three floors, with a building area of 3,500 square meters and an exhibition area of 2,400 square meters. There is a reception desk in the lobby on the ground floor, where series models of fire engines, water gun combination "Climbing Mission", 1930 original wooden mechanical ladder truck and 1908 meriwether steam fire engine model are displayed.

The exhibition hall on the second floor is the Science and Technology Experience Hall, which allows visitors to master fire fighting knowledge and escape skills in the process of interaction.

The exhibition hall on the third floor is the history exhibition hall. Through the display of a large number of historical objects, photos and audio-visual materials, visitors can fully understand the fire protection cause in Shanghai, from gestation to brilliant leap.
