Xi 'an-Xi 'an North Ring Expressway is a key traffic construction project determined by Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone Development Plan and Xixian New Area Plan. It is an important part of the "2367" expressway network in Shaanxi Province, and it is also a golden channel around xixian New Area, connecting Xi Satellite City and surrounding important towns in series.
Planning and construction
The route starts from the east of Lingkou Town in Lintong District, ends at Guzituan in Huxian County, and connects with Beijing-Kunming Expressway (K 1 12+926). The total length of the line is 122.6 13km, passing through Xi, Xianyang and Weinan, 10 districts (counties), 26 townships (towns) and 109 natural villages. The project adopts two-way six lanes, with a design speed of 120km/h, and will be completed and opened to traffic in 20 15 years.
Purpose and significance
After Xi 'an-Xi 'an Northern Ring Road is completed and opened to traffic, it will directly transfer with five expressways, including Lianhuoxi Passage Line, Lianhuoxin Xibao Line, Jingkun, Xiyan and Yin Fu. A large number of transit vehicles, especially large trucks, can no longer pass through the main city, and the expressway around the city can also be avoided.
The North Ring Road to Xi 'an and the Expressway to Chongqing, which have been completed and opened to traffic, form a big cross frame, connecting Gaoling, Yanliang and Lintong around Weibei Industrial Zone with two or three interchanges and expressways. The three sub-centers of Yanliang, Lintong and Huxian will realize high-speed channel connection, which will facilitate the travel of people in Weinan City, Gaoling and Huxian, and also help to expand the development space.
