(1) proof of family income; (2) proof of family housing status; (3) ID cards and household registration books of family members; (four) other certification materials stipulated by the people's government of the city or county.

Sub-district offices or town people's governments shall, within 30 days from the date of accepting the application, examine whether the applicant's family income and family housing conditions meet the prescribed conditions, put forward preliminary examination opinions and post them, and submit the preliminary examination opinions and application materials to the construction (housing security) department of the municipal (district) and county people's governments. 3. The construction (housing security) department shall, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application materials, put forward audit opinions on whether the applicant's family housing situation meets the prescribed conditions, and forward the qualified applicant's application materials to the civil affairs department at the same level. 4. The civil affairs department shall, within 15 days from the date of receiving the application materials, put forward audit opinions on whether the applicant's family income meets the prescribed conditions, and feed back to the competent department of construction (housing security) at the same level. 5. After examination, if the family income and family housing conditions meet the prescribed conditions, the competent department of construction (housing security) shall publicize it for 15 days. If there is no objection or objection is not established after publicity, it shall be registered as the object of low-rent housing security, notify the applicant in writing and publicize the registration results to the society.
After examination, the competent department of construction (housing security) shall notify the applicant in writing and explain the reasons. If the applicant disagrees with the audit results, he may appeal to the competent department of construction (housing security).
Legal basis: Article 16 of the Measures for the Protection of Low-rent Housing: To apply for the protection of low-rent housing, the following materials shall be provided: (1) proof of family income; (two) proof materials of family housing situation; (3) ID cards and household registration books of family members; (four) other certification materials stipulated by the people's government of the city or county.
