The whole story of the exposure of secret documents
What the Ministry of National Defense wants to cover up most is the action of a secret unit in the National Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) that is responsible for investigating the truth of UFOs. This unit is also called "DI55" for short, and UFO conspiracy theorists compare it to the institution in the science fiction movie "Men in Black" to protect the earth from foreign aggression. But judging from the published documents, this is far from the truth.
In a memo submitted by 1995 to the public UFO service desk of the Ministry of National Defense, DI55 wrote: "Several works in my family describe us as people who' defend the earth from external threats'-this is several light years away from the truth."
David clark, a journalism lecturer at hiram University in Sheffield, and Andy Roberts, his colleague, released the above-mentioned documents according to the Freedom of Information Act, so that the secret of the Ministry of National Defense's participation in the UFO truth investigation was revealed to the world. Dr Clark said: "Those documents won't tell us anything about UFOs, but they do tell people how the Department of Defense is desperate to hide the truth about intelligence agencies' involvement in UFO investigations. "
The declassification of these documents also originated from the request of a UFO fan named Julian Hennessy. 1976, Julian Hennessy asked to consult the records of the Ministry of National Defense about UFO sightings. The document submitted by the UFO office to the security director of the Ministry of National Defense on March 23 shows that officials intend to reject Hennessy's request on the spot on the grounds that the document contains some confidential information and is "almost worthless for serious scientific research".
But the document also said: "But this does not mean that the investigation did not take a serious attitude. Branches have their own methods. UFO offices "don't need to know" relevant information-we notice that DI55 conducts more extensive investigations from time to time. The idea of publishing these materials, even if it is only a hint, is undesirable and unpopular. We are consulting the Aviation History Section on how to delete relevant records as soon as possible when these documents can be made public in public archives. "
Hennessy is now a local official, and he is not surprised to hear the story behind the events he experienced 30 years ago. Hennessy said: "Everything makes me believe that there is a big net to cover up the truth. They don't want the public to know how interested they are in UFO phenomenon. "
A clerical error led to the disclosure of the secret.
The British Ministry of Defence tried to change public records until the 1990s. In a document dated1April 28th, 993 submitted by DI55 to the UFO office, the unnamed author claimed that the information about DI55' s participation in UFO investigation should be deleted from the records, on the grounds that these records will eventually be made public according to the 30-year confidentiality regulations.
But what the Department of Defense didn't expect was that their secret was leaked. A clerical error in 1983 caused a flaw in the UFO-related file directory, and UFO enthusiasts immediately became suspicious. Dr Clark said: "Since then, they have become the target of public bombardment, and people's questions have come one after another-who is the person involved in the investigation-DI55? What investigations have they made and to what extent? "
DI55 finally decided to make its participation in the investigation public. 1a document provided by DI55 to the UFO office on July 5, 995 said: "I think there is no reason to continue to deny the fact that the National Defense Intelligence Agency is involved in UFO investigation. However, once this matter is officially announced to the public, the Ministry of National Defense will undoubtedly face the pressure of Chinese people, and the public will certainly ask what role the intelligence department played in the investigation and what issues it is interested in. Opening to the outside world will lead to doubts and embarrassment. The reason is that only a small number of people may believe the fact that UFOs exist. Judging from the thousands of reports obtained, they gave up research because of lack of sufficient funds and higher priority. "
Flying saucers used to be "plasma"
Dr. Clark said: "They have long deleted information about the important role of national defense intelligence personnel in UFO investigation, which shows that they must be hiding something. But what they hide is not the evidence that aliens visited the earth, but the fact that they used taxpayers' money to conduct any in-depth investigation without permission. Once the document is exposed, they will definitely fall into great embarrassment. "
With the publication of a report submitted to Dr. Clark, which was also published in The Guardian, the degree of DI55' s participation in the survey was subsequently confirmed. This 500-page document records everything DI55 knows about UFOs. The Department of Defense prefers to use the term "UFO phenomenon", including more than 654.38 million sightings of UFOs. The report points out that there is no doubt about the existence of "unidentified aviation phenomenon", but it also complains that most flying saucers are only formed during flying "plasma"-"formed under at least one meteorological and charged condition" or during meteor showers.
Have you ever seen an alien creature?
1965 On August 10, a man reported that he saw a crimson sphere flying over a hill in Warminster, Wiltshire. Two weeks later, another man took a picture of a UFO at the Valminster Center. 1994 confirmed that this photo was just a scam, and the so-called "flying saucer" was made of spools and buttons.
/kloc-On Boxing Day (the first working day after Christmas) in 0/980, it was reported that a flying saucer crashed in Laendler Shem Forest in Suffolk, which is near woodbridge Air Force Base. The UFO crash is also called "Roswell of Britain". The famous Roswell is located in New Mexico, USA, and a UFO was witnessed in 1947. Witnesses said that there were many marks on the surface of the flying saucer, similar to Egyptian hieroglyphics, and then the aliens came out of the flying saucer. A pilot later admitted that the accident was also a scam.
1980165438+1On October 28th, a policeman named Allen Godfrey reported that he saw a 6-meter-wide dome-shaped object hovering in the air in Todd Morton, West Yorkshire. He and his colleagues immediately rushed to the witness site and found that the ground below the hovering area of the unknown object was dry, while another ground in expressway was wet-it had rained before.
In the early 1990s, residents in northern Scotland witnessed flying saucers flying over their heads at extremely high speed many times. Documents released in early 2006 show that the so-called "UFO" is nothing more than a spy plane named "Leona" designed by the United States, whose task is to take photos of the former Soviet Union.
In May 2006, the Ministry of National Defense announced the details of Condon's plan. Kangdian is a secret research that lasted for four years, studying the possible explanation of UFO phenomenon. Many flying saucers mentioned in the report can be explained as luminous "plasma" produced by gas under charged conditions. (Yang Xiaowen)
