Air flotation methods can be divided into loose air flotation, dissolved air flotation (including vacuum air flotation) and electrolytic air flotation. At present, it is used for water supply, industrial wastewater and urban sewage treatment. Compared with other solid-liquid separation equipment, air flotation equipment has the characteristics of less investment, small floor space, high degree of automation and convenient operation and management.
Air flotation machine is mainly used for solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation. A large number of fine bubbles are produced in water by dissolved air release system, which make them adhere to solid or liquid particles with density close to that of water in wastewater, so that their overall density is less than that of water, and they rise to the water surface by buoyancy, thus achieving the purpose of solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation. In the field of water treatment, air flotation machine is used in the following aspects:
1. Separate tiny polymers such as suspended solids and algae from surface water.
2. Recover useful substances in industrial wastewater, such as pulp in papermaking wastewater.
3. Separate the concentrated sludge from the water to replace the secondary sedimentation tank.
