As early as 1994, the QR code was published in Japan. Unfortunately, Japan has not extended the application of QR codes to payment and bundling with social platforms. What really benefited the whole world was China's Wei Xu, who got a patent for it.
With the continuous improvement of China's market economy and the rapid development of information technology, the demand for QR code, a new technology, is increasing in China. With the strong support of the former State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and the relevant state departments, China Article Coding Center has continuously deepened the research on QR code technology.
On the basis of digesting relevant foreign technical data, two national standards of two-dimensional code are formulated: two-dimensional code grid matrix code (SJ/T 1 1349-2006) and two-dimensional code compact matrix code (SJ/T 1 1350-2006), which greatly promotes the development of the two-dimensional code.
Inventor of QR code
Yuan Changhong 1957 was born in Tokyo, Japan. 1980 graduated from Hosei University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. In the same year, he joined Denso Corporation of Japan, 1994 developed the QR code, 1999 passed the JIS standard, and in 2000 passed the ISO standard. Yuan Changhong 1957 was born in Tokyo, and 1980 graduated from Hosei University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He joined Denso, a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, which actively developed new technologies such as speech recognition and participated in the development of new technologies.
It turns out that Changhong first developed a bar code reader. In the United States, two-dimensional codes have begun to appear, but because of the large amount of information, it takes two to three seconds to read a code, so it cannot be used in industry. I decided to consider a brand-new QR code with the theme of "reading speed". Computers are good at one-dimensional processing such as bar codes. So, if there is a pattern with a unique black-and-white ratio, you will realize that there is a code there. Finally, it turned out that Changhong invented the QR code.
