Hisense (USA) Optical Communication R&D Center was established in July 2002, located in the beautiful eastern city of Chicago. The development team is composed of elites in North American optical communication industry, and the laboratory is equipped with development equipment with the highest speed of 40Gbit per second. Based on the commanding heights of global optical communication technology, R&D Center is committed to providing technologically advanced optical communication module products and solutions worldwide. Since its establishment, Hisense (USA) Optical Communication R&D Center has successively completed the research and development of SFF/SFP/XFP miniaturized optical transceiver module with international advanced level, and the product speed has been increased from100Bit per second to 10G bit per second, which has become the technology incubator of Qingdao Hisense Optoelectronic Technology Company and laid a good foundation for the development of Hisense optical communication industry. In March 2007, Hisense Europe R&D Center was formally established in the southern Dutch city of Eindhoven. At present, R&D centers in Europe have R&D positions such as circuit design, software design, structural design, product manager and ID modeling design. It is estimated that by the end of 2007, the company will have about 20 employees, of which about 30% are foreign employees. Hisense Europe R&D Center will make full use of Hisense's technical advantages in digital TV, network multimedia, chips, digital home and other fields, fully investigate the latest technology development trends, European fashion trends, user habits and user needs, and develop high-tech and cost-effective digital DVB products and network, high-definition and multimedia flat-panel TV products for Europe and similar markets.
