I. Introduction to the College
Shanxi Railway Vocal Music Technical College, located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, is a full-time ordinary higher vocational school approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. Adhering to the motto of "Moral Education, Strengthening Skills, Diligence and Pursuit", the College has trained more than 80,000 technical and skilled talents for the society in the past 60 years. A large number of industry leaders and technical backbones stand out from here and have made outstanding contributions to national and local economic construction. The college is located in Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City, adjacent to Dongshan Ecological Park, surrounded by Donghuan Expressway, Dongzhonghuan Road and G307 National Road, with fresh air and pleasant environment. The college has 8 teaching departments, including traffic operation management department, intelligent control department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, light industry engineering department, chemical engineering department, art design department, basic teaching department and ideological and political theory teaching and research department, and offers 36 majors. At present, there are 23 on-campus training bases such as rail transit comprehensive training center and 39 off-campus training bases, including 4 national training bases, 5 professional training bases supported by provincial finance, 2 provincial demonstration training bases, 65 training rooms, complete information network system and 60 multimedia classrooms.
The College actively explores innovative talent training mode, and has established in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with 56 enterprises including Zhong Ding Logistics Park, Taitie Staff Training Base, Kunshan Qiutai, Antai Group, China Railway Logistics and China Railway Intermodal Transport. More than 100 "double-qualified" enterprise teachers are integrated into the talent training process of the college, forming "talent education, process management, responsibility and achievement".
