Five times. By 2022, the national civilized cities will be selected every three years. Following the selection of the first national civilized city in 2005, the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth national civilized cities were selected in 2008, 2014, 20 17 and 2020. Suzhou has been a national civilized city for five consecutive years.
