There are 4 1 teacher in our college, including professor 13 and associate professor 12. College of Resources and Environmental Engineering has a long history and is one of the earliest majors in Hefei University of Technology. Huainan Institute of Coal Industry, founded in 1950, is the predecessor of Hefei University of Technology. Hefei Institute of Mining and Technology, founded in 1954, has a geology department, which was the main subject of the school at that time. The School of Resources and Environmental Engineering has been developing in a mode of giving priority to scientific research and paying equal attention to teaching and scientific research. The large-scale experimental instruments and equipment managed by the school experimental center are shared by all disciplines of the school; The central laboratory of the college has all kinds of advanced teaching and research experimental equipment, with fixed assets of150,000 yuan and an annual growth rate of 2 million yuan. Advanced instruments and equipment and superior experimental environment have built a good platform for the teaching and scientific research work of the college and laid a good foundation for striving for the national key laboratory.

Our school has a publishing house-Hefei University of Technology Press and an academic journal-Journal of Hefei University of Technology, which, like other publishing houses and important journals at home and abroad, provides a platform for the exchange of some teaching and scientific research achievements in our school. Since 2000, teachers in our college have published 9 academic monographs and teaching materials, and published more than 230 academic papers in core journals at home and abroad. In 2003 alone, teachers in our college published 75 academic papers, with an average of 1.8, and papers included in SCI, EI and ISTP 15, with an average of 0.37.
