The steps to change the registration of cost engineers are to enter the China Construction Engineering Cost Information Network; Enter the management system of engineering cost consulting enterprises and cost engineers; Log in as a registered cost engineer and fill in the user name and password; Enter the personal information base, the intra-provincial changes enter the institutional changes, and the inter-provincial changes enter the institutional changes; Modify and fill in relevant data; Continuing education needs to be updated in time; Work experience and performance need to be updated in time; Print the change application form; Data report.

Persons who have obtained professional qualifications shall apply for registration to the competent construction department of the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government where the employer is located or the relevant department of the State Council.

To apply for initial registration, the registration preliminary examination organ shall complete the examination within 20 days from the date of accepting the application, and report the application materials and preliminary examination opinions to the competent construction department of the State Council. The registration authority shall make a decision within 20 days from the date of acceptance.

To apply for change of registration or renewal of registration, the registration preliminary examination organ shall complete the examination within 5 days from the date of accepting the application, and report the application materials and preliminary examination opinions to the registration organ. The registration authority shall make a decision within 10 days from the date of acceptance.

To apply for registration of change, the following materials shall be submitted:

Application form for change of registration;

Registration certificate;

A copy of the labor contract signed with the new employer;

Documents certifying the termination of the labor contract with the original employer;

Foreigners, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao personnel must provide a copy of the employment certificate for foreigners and the employment certificate for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao personnel.
