At home, at the first dinner, my sister-in-law prepared special dishes of my hometown for us: tofu water and dried beans. Water tofu is tofu made by grinding soybean milk and brine together and putting it in a shallow bowl made of wicker to filter out the water, then putting it in a bowl, pouring the brine made of minced meat and enjoying it. Finally, put a bowl of dried bean rice made of red beans and stew the rice. This is a delicious dinner in my hometown.

The next day (July 5), my sister-in-law bought a big basin of soybean milk and fried dough sticks for breakfast. I saw a layer of oil skin floating on the soybean milk, which was delicious and thick. The new house was completed as scheduled, and there is still a lot of follow-up work. Because the foundation of the new house is 1.5 meters higher than the original ground, a ramp has to be built in front of the house. This ramp was built by Third Brother himself. First, the low walls on both sides of the ramp are made of river stones, and then filled in the middle with gravel and waste sand. After many rainfalls, the crushed stone is fixed, and then the cement is plastered on it. At this time, this slope is considered to be successful. Third brother personally dug a sewage well in the southeast corner of the backyard to collect sewage from the kitchen and bathroom. The well is two meters deep and about one and a half meters in diameter. The shaft wall is covered with river stones for seepage.

In order to build a house, load and unload building materials, large-scale construction machinery entered the site, and the courtyard wall in the backyard was demolished. Unfortunately, on the morning of June 27th, the third brother accidentally slipped at the entrance of the hall on the west side of the new house, and fell from the high platform on the vegetable garden floor, resulting in a fracture of his left calf. When we went there, we had been in plaster for eight days. Third brother is a strong man, restless man and ingenious man. That's it. Third brother is going to the field, so we will comfort him straight. Don't rush to work in the fields, lest all your previous efforts be wasted. It's not too late to wait until the injury is completely healed next year. What a hardworking third brother this is.

There are many cucumbers, beans, eggplant, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, leeks, shallots and so on. This season we went, potatoes have come out, which is the peak season for cucumber and beans. We eat fresh vegetables every day. We must pick cucumbers and beans that we can't eat the night before, otherwise we will be elders. In this way, at four o'clock the next morning, Sansao took these dishes to the Qianwei Town market to sell. Because we are here, the third brother is injured again, and there is still a lot of work at home, so the third sister-in-law will wholesale these dishes cheaper and go back early for soy sauce and vinegar. I have no experience in picking cucumbers and beans. This is all done by the Linde brothers. Sometimes I just help.

On the morning of the 6th, we walked around the Ruizhou city wall site.

Qianwei Town was also called Ruizhou City a long time ago, and our hometown is about 100 meters south of the city root in the north of Ruizhou City. On this day, our five sisters-in-law visited the ruins of the North City Wall, only to find that the wall was covered with vegetation. The ruins of the city wall are 7 or 8 meters high and the top is about 3 meters wide. The north side of the city wall is full of rubbish, and discarded plastic bags can be seen everywhere. Walking east along the city wall is a broken wall at the eastern end of the city wall, and there is no way to go. On the 8th, five of us took a long-distance bus to visit our husband and family at Qin's home, the elder sister of Gaoling Town. I haven't seen Sister Qin for over forty years. The tomb of Jiang Nv, or Meng Jiangnv, is located 20 miles southeast of Shanhaiguan. In the South China Sea, about 5 kilometers southeast, there are two reefs standing upright in the ups and downs, the high one is more than 20 meters, and the short one is 10 meters. One tall and one short, interdependent. This memo is the legendary tomb of Jiang Nv. The tomb of Jiang Nv stands on the sea. Tide is long and grave is long, and tide falls on the grave. No matter how big the tide is, it can't reach the top of the grave. Standing on the Phoenix Mountain overlooking the grave of Jiang Nv, people have infinite reverie. The legendary story of Meng Jiangnv crying down the Great Wall is widely circulated, and the birthplace of the story is Dongdaihe River in Suizhong, Liaoning Province. It is said that Meng Jiangnv committed suicide in this sea area, so three huge stones suddenly appeared in the sea. The tall one was transformed by Meng Jiangnv's body, and the short one was transformed by her baggage, so the locals called it "Jiangnv's Tomb".

After visiting the "Jiangnv Tomb", we went straight back to Sister Qin's house. Sister Qin prepared a sumptuous lunch for us. Sister Qin's daughter-in-law presented exquisite cooking skills, and everyone pushed cups for a change, holding bottles to wish each other, talking and laughing, and family affection was once again revealed. Sister Qin sat next to me and kept picking up food for me. I'm embarrassed to eat it. I don't usually eat seafood, and I can't peel it.
