In order to solve the problem of low pass rate of large vehicles, the driving test center organized some coaches of large and medium-sized vans in driving schools to conduct a week-long intensive training. Examiners explain in detail the difficulties, key points and precautions of each examination item through theoretical and practical courses, so that the coach can be more targeted in the teaching process.

The person in charge of the driving test center said that the pass rate of re-examination of large and medium-sized vans is low, mainly because only three or four driving schools in the city have increased the training places of the test items. Most of the students who take the exam now are overstocked students, about four or five hundred.

In view of these situations, the driving test center conducted a one-week coach training. The training is divided into three stages: in the first stage, the examiner gives a theoretical explanation; In the second stage, the coaches with high pass rate are invited to introduce their experiences; In the third stage, the coach went to the scene to experience, ask questions and be explained by the examiner.

Wang Xueli, the examiner, introduced that the number of examination items for subject 2 of large and medium-sized vans has increased from 9 to 16, and the seven newly added examination items are simulating high-speed, simulating tunnels, wet roads, rainy and foggy weather, simulating emergency treatment, turning around in narrow roads and sharply turning mountain roads.

Among the new items, two candidates made more mistakes: simulating wet roads in rainy and foggy days and simulating high speed.

In the theory class, Wang Xueli also gave a detailed explanation of the examinee's questions. For example, the subject of simulating rainy and foggy days is divided into two test sites: simulating rainy days requires candidates to turn on wipers, and simulating foggy days requires turning on headlights, position lights, fog lights and hazard warning flashlights.

When passing through a wet road, it is forbidden to suddenly refuel or brake, and when driving at a low speed, you should pass smoothly.

Wang Xueli said that because this project needs to switch lights and wipers frequently, candidates will make more mistakes because of nervousness.

Then, Wang Xueli introduced the matters needing attention of simulating high speed in detail. Near the simulated intersection of expressway, the examinee will hear the voice prompt of "charge by swiping the card", and the examinee needs to use the pass card on the examination car to raise the railing. After entering the simulated high speed, candidates need to speed up to over 30km/h quickly. Candidates should turn on the turn signal if they need to change lanes. When approaching the exit, candidates need to quickly adjust the lane and speed, reduce the speed to below 30km/h, and then stop at the exit to swipe their cards. After the railing is lifted, the exam is over.

The most common mistake in this kind of exam is that when we approach the exit, the speed can't be reduced below 30 km/h immediately.
