Development history
Since 2003, Bona was not satisfied with the simple film distribution, and began to expand into the upstream investment and production field of the film industry, successfully ranking among the leading domestic film investment and production ranks. In June 2008, Bona Film Group announced the establishment of an overseas distribution company headed by Hong Kong veteran filmmakers Shi Nansheng and Chen Yongxiong. Bona International Cinema Investment Management Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 in order to build a complete industrial chain of film production, distribution and screening. The company has invested and built 15 five-star multi-hall cinemas, 1 10 screens and15,000 seats in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Chongqing. As an important part of the company's film industry chain, it will continue to expand its cinema business nationwide in the next few years, with a view to building 80 five-star modern cinemas in 20 13 * * and becoming the most important cinema investor and famous cinema brand operator in China.
