Adhering to the grassroots spirit and practicing professionalism, this is Beijing Yilian Labor Law Aid and Research Center, a non-governmental organization adhering to traditional culture and practicing modern civil rights concepts. In recent years, China's labor legal system has been continuously improved, but labor problems have become more complicated. Yilian has always been in the forefront, committed to (1) providing help to the disabled and vulnerable workers, (2) offering suggestions to the government, and (3) building a platform for communication, dialogue and capacity development for social groups. Yilian expects to explore the future with perseverance and wisdom in difficulties, and make every effort to promote the development of public welfare law in China and the progress of the rule of law in China.
(1) Yilian has always adhered to the principle of "helping the poor and helping the needy, helping them to the end", providing professional, timely, high-quality and efficient legal practical assistance to needy workers, especially migrant workers, devoting itself to the development of labor capacity, policy and legislation research and publicity, and giving full play to the important role of legal aid in serving people's livelihood and maintaining social stability. In accordance with the guiding spirit of the Ministry of Justice and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice on legal aid work. In recent years, Yilian * * * handled 1752 cases and closed 1654 cases, involving 41324,009.45 yuan, of which 85. 1% was assisted by migrant workers. In addition, the Justice League has always attached importance to legal aid consulting services; Strive to help workers quickly and effectively safeguard their rights according to law; In order to reduce litigation disputes, Yilian has successively opened the China Industrial Injury Compensation Network and the Labor Legal Aid Hotline; Telephone consultation and answer 14726 person-times; 80 15 person-times, 28,380 person-times of online consultation, and 904 books and legal opinions. A large number of consultation, reception and agency cases have effectively guaranteed the legitimate rights and interests of the recipients, especially migrant workers.
(2) Pay special attention to summing up experience through practice and deepen theoretical research. Up to now, the Yilian team has published 32 books, including The Latest Work Injury Treatment Practice, Sun Tzu's Art of War for Defending Rights, Analysis of Difficult Cases in Labor Contract Law and Research on Work Injury Insurance in China, with a cumulative distribution of more than 400,000 copies. Moreover, Yilian also actively cooperated with periodicals and newspapers such as Semimonthly Talk, China Social Security, Modern Occupational Safety and Beijing News, and published more than 50 professional articles/kloc-0, which actively and effectively popularized labor legal knowledge and cultivated laborers' awareness of rights protection.
(3) Yilian is also committed to promoting the improvement of labor policies, and has repeatedly put forward legislative suggestions on the drafting and revision of relevant labor laws and regulations, which have been adopted. Lawyer Huang Leping often said that if legal aid only stays in aid practice and is still at a very primary level, how to change the living conditions of workers from the institutional level is the higher goal of Yilian. Therefore, it will be an important direction of Yilian's work to combine influential case assistance with the establishment of innovative rights protection mechanism to promote the improvement of policies and laws. The YiLian made hundreds of legislative proposals, and more than 30 of them were adopted, which is really not easy among NGOs. In addition, lawyer Yilian actively promoted policy guidance and legal progress in China, and applied to the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture for government information disclosure, which attracted wide attention from the media and society. The obtained public information played an important role in public safety.
