Luyi County, called Ku County and Minglu in ancient times, belongs to Zhoukou City, Henan Province. It is a county directly under the jurisdiction of Henan Province. 1, Taiqing Palace.
Taiqing Palace in Lu Yi is located in Taiqing Palace Town, Luyi County, and is the birthplace of Laozi. According to historical records, in the eighth year of Yan Xi in the Eastern Han Dynasty (165), it was built by Guan Shiba, the president of Liu Zhi, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, formerly known as Laozi Temple. In the third year of Wude in Tang Gaozu (620), in order to rule the world and improve his family status, Li Yuan listened to Ji's suggestion and recognized Laozi as his ancestor. He sent someone to expand the Laozi Temple in the Han Dynasty, which was called Taiqing Palace.

Mingdao Palace, formerly known as Amethyst Palace, was built in Han Dynasty and flourished in Tang and Song Dynasties. It is a memorial building complex where Laozi, an ancient thinker, philosopher and founder of Taoist school in China, gave lectures. It is composed of buildings such as Yiren Wan Fang, Dengxian Bridge, Youlong Dike, Qingxi Hall, Xuanyuan Hall and Dengxiantai.
