Yuzhou City, which belongs to Xuchang City, Henan Province, is located in the middle of Henan Province. It borders on Jian 'an District and changge city in Xuchang City in the east, between11303'-1339', 33 59'-34 24' in the north, and borders on xinzheng city and xinmi city in the north. It belongs to warm temperate continental monsoon climate. The city's total area is 146 1 km2, and it has jurisdiction over 26 townships (offices) and 673 administrative villages (communities) with a total population of 1.3 million.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Wei, Shu and Wu split, and Yangzhai belonged to Wei. In the first year of Wei Dynasty, Yang Zhai was changed to Yuzhou County Department. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), Yuxian County was still established, and it was subordinate to Xuchang Institution and Xuchang City. 1988, Yuxian was abolished and Yuzhou was established as a county-level city directly under the provincial government, with separate plans.
Yuzhou, known as the first capital of China, is famous for its Jun porcelain culture, Dayu culture and traditional Chinese medicine culture. It is the capital of Xia Dynasty, and the only producing area of Jun porcelain, the "five famous porcelains" in China. There are 2,420 ground historical and cultural heritages in China, including 2 national intangible cultural heritages and 8 provincial intangible cultural heritages. It was named the first batch of historical and cultural cities in Henan Province, the hometown of ceramic culture in China and the hometown of Dayu culture in China.
