The station was completed in June 2007 with an investment of about 800 million yuan. The capacity of main transformer in the current period is 1×75 kva, and the long-term capacity is 3× 75KVA. 50KVA goes out twice in the current period and 10 times at the end of the period.
There is no thermal power plant in Yongzhou power grid, and it relies almost entirely on hydropower and external power supply. Most of the load is sent from Hengyang and Chenzhou by three 220kV lines. In addition, Yongzhou power grid is at the end of Hunan power grid, so it is difficult to operate safely, economically and reliably. After Zongyuan substation is put into operation, it will fundamentally solve the problems of insufficient power supply capacity and system security and stability in Yongzhou power grid. Yongzhou Power Grid will also form a modern power grid with 500 kV main network, 220 kV as the backbone and 1 10 kV as a complete set.
