Whether the network is good or not, the user has the final say, and the user experience is not the best, only better, so the network optimization is sloppy. " Liu Tong said.

A person, holding a computer and plugging in many devices, is running back and forth in the streets. This is a daily road test for excellent network personnel.

"We must innovate our working methods!" Liu Tong made up his mind to think about whether it can be analyzed by big data. Like Chinese medicine, the network can cure the disease before it affects the user's use, and it becomes invisible before it is used.

In order to overcome this problem, he did not take the traditional old road, but found another way, starting from the technical level, analyzed and monitored the wireless network in advance, and changed the working mode that relied mainly on manual road test in the past.

After nearly two years of technical research, Liu Tong and his team developed a system consisting of four modules: abnormal user screening, abnormal cell analysis, scale DT test and scale CQT diagnosis, which can find hidden network problems from clues and automatically start the network optimization process before users perceive network problems.

From 2G to 5G, the times are changing and the technology is changing, but Liu Tong's persistent drilling strength remains unchanged.

For 20 years, in the exchange room, Liu Tong stayed up all night to ensure the stable operation of the equipment; At the communication base station, Liu braved the scorching sun and snow to solve the equipment failure; In the wild in Shan Ye, Liu Tong bumped for hundreds of miles to take a road test. ...

"Network construction is to solve problems, network maintenance is to solve problems, and network optimization is to solve problems. It's like planting a tree on a barren hill. Especially in the communication industry, with the iterative updating of technology, if it can't keep up in time, it will directly affect the user experience.

A large number of new technologies and equipment are adopted in 5G base stations, which leads to a significant increase in equipment power consumption, almost 3.5 times that of 4G base stations. How to reduce the energy consumption of 5G base stations? A new topic is placed in front of Liu Tong.

Under the leadership of Liu Tong, the self-developed intelligent energy-saving platform for base stations came into being. "The energy-saving effect can reach 20%." So, how can we ensure the online experience on the high-speed rail? Liu Tong started to "toss" again. In frequent road tests, he found that the short instantaneous time of high-speed rail passing through the base station and the large number of users are the specific reasons for the sharp increase in base station traffic. Therefore, Liu Tong took the lead in putting forward the "second" instantaneous load analysis method of high-speed rail scene, revealing the business rules of high-speed rail scene from the micro level, providing technical guidance for the planning and optimization of high-speed rail mobile network communication base stations in the province, and truly ensuring that the "high-speed rail network does not drop".

Pay attention to persistence and deep cultivation ... Liu Tong's road to innovation is getting wider and wider. From 2065438 to 2009, Liu Tong took the lead in operating the 5G talent workstation, mobilized the backbone of experts in the province, tackled key problems in 5G engineering technology, and exported more than 30 innovative achievements, filling many gaps in the construction, maintenance and optimization of 5G networks.
