Chen Wenbin, male,195565438+born in February, Han nationality, Jian 'ou, Fujian, is a sculpture artist. Senior Arts and Crafts Artist, Fujian Arts and Crafts Master, China Shoushan Stone Carving Master, Member of China Arts and Crafts Society. Chen Wenbin has a natural love for arts and crafts since he was a child. 1967 During the Cultural Revolution, he liked to knead clay figurines and carve gadgets out of wood. 1972 I saw the large-scale picture album China Arts and Crafts published by my uncle Chen De (printmaker) in my hometown Jian 'ou Cultural Center. If it is a treasure, I have seen it again and again. Inspired and guided by my uncle, I imitated the works such as Needle Testing and Tibetan Mastiff in the book, and then I sprouted the ideal of engaging in arts and crafts carving. After graduating from high school, 1974 went to jump the queue to farm and never stopped carving. Because of this hobby, 1977 was recommended to study in the Sculpture Department of Fujian Arts and Crafts School for three years in February. 1Feb. 980, graduated with honors, and was assigned to Fujian Arts and Crafts Experimental Factory to engage in Shoushan stone carving. From June 5th to February, 2005, Hong Kong People's Publishing House published Chen Wenbin's Sculpture Collection.
Chen Wenbin is good at carving figures in circles, taking the creative road of combining modern aesthetics with traditional spirit, and endowing traditional themes with modernity. His works are novel and unique in composition and elegant and smooth in lines. He is good at using the pretty colors of stone materials and has a unique style, which has won the admiration of colleagues and collectors at home and abroad and is known as the pioneer of Shoushan Stone School.
