What is the process of handling children's ID cards?

Children's ID cards are not handled uniformly in different places. Take Beijing as an example. Other provinces and cities are for reference only. A citizen with a permanent residence in Beijing shall, within three months from the date of reaching the age of sixteen, apply to the local police station for a resident identity card.

The client must hold the original and photocopy of his/her resident identity card, the applicant's household registration book, the certificate of obtaining the resident identity card, and the power of attorney (the reasons why the applicant cannot obtain the certificate, the basic information of the client and his/her signature are required).
