Scenic spot introduction: "Damocle Cave" is located in the middle of Muyan Riverside Scenic Spot, which is a cultural tourist scenic spot with the theme of promoting Damocle Zen culture, and has been restored and rebuilt on the original site of 48 scenic spots in Nanjing Ancient Jinling.

The scenic area covers an area of about 6.5438+0.85 million square meters, and the elevation of the main peak is about 1 10 meters. It is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery, rugged terrain and unique geology, which integrates natural scenery with history and humanities.

The scenic spot consists of the site of the ancient cave of Dharma, the "Baidama" grottoes, the Gallo Peak and the ever-changing Golden Body Square, which skillfully integrates Zen culture with eco-tourism.

According to legend, during the Liang Dynasty, Dharma, a Tianzhu monk, went to Shaolin Temple after being left out in Jinling, and rested in this cave on the way, so it was called Dharma Cave.

Focusing on the site of Dharma Ancient Cave, Mule Peak and Baitai Dharma Square, the scenic spot vividly reproduces the short journey of Dharma, the founder of Zen Buddhism in China, before crossing the river in the ancient capital through 100 and Liang Wudi's "Chasing Dharma" sculpture, and shows the inheritance and development of Zen culture in China with Huineng, Hui Ke and many relief stories of Dharma Zen.
