Cang Yan San Jue
The "Three Wonders of Cangyan" are artificially built and naturally grown, all of which attract people with wonders and attract countless tourists who are interested in finding wonders to come from afar to watch.
Bridge Hall Flying Rainbow: "Bridge Hall Flying Rainbow" is a famous bridge building hall. This is an ancient building built on the stone bridge at the top of the canyon, with blue sky at the top and deep valleys at the bottom, such as the rainbow hanging high and the white clouds in Qi Fei. The ancients once wrote a poem of praise for it, "Looking at thousands of feet Hongqiao in the distance, the sky is high and the clouds are light." At this time, tourists are attracted by this wonderful high-rise building and stop to enjoy it. It is called "a rare treasure in the world" and "a miracle on earth"
Bijian Lingtan: "Bijian Lingtan" is a group of Dalbergia trees growing in the ravine in front of Qiaolou Temple. Its unique shape is rare in other mountainous areas. The roots are bare, the trunk is skinless and heartless, surrounded by huge stones. Locals call it Welcome Sandalwood, Arhat Sandalwood, Sister Sandalwood, Yuanyang Sandalwood, Panlong Sandalwood, Crouching Tiger Sandalwood, Bodhisattva Sandalwood, Fairy Sandalwood, Lizard Sandalwood, Squirrel Sandalwood and so on. Different forms often make tourists stop to watch.
Thuja: "Thuja" refers to a group of ancient cypresses growing on Cangyan Mountain, including golden cypress, Sabina vulgaris and cedar. , all grow on the cliff, upright, lying on the side, upside down, with different shapes, simple and lush, and the trees are all over 2000 years old. What is even more peculiar is that these thousands of ancient cypresses, no matter where they grow, all grow in one direction towards Princess Temple in Nanyang, which is also a great spectacle on Cangyan Mountain. It is called "Cooper pilgrimage" locally.
Cangyan academy
Entering the mountain gate, I saw a small courtyard called Cangyan Academy, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. Although the yard is small, it is antique, solemn and elegant. It is built on the stone bridge between the dangerous rocks in the canyon, with the spring gurgling below and the shade above, and the environment is very beautiful. Shadows are swaying, sunshine is rare, and it is quiet and cool. It is a good place to escape the heat in summer. The name "Academy Dance Shadow" also comes from this. The ancients once wrote in a poem: "The day never forgets the morning and evening, just like the Danqiu cave."
After the "Academy Dance Shadow", we went all the way up the mountain, passed the Monument House and Wanxiantang, that is, to the "Bijian Lingtan". In this long and narrow valley, there are many white sandalwood trees, which are colorful and fascinating. Then you can reach the Climbing Tiger Temple, which is said to be built to commemorate Princess Nanyang, the daughter of Emperor Yang Di of Sui Dynasty, who climbed the mountain with the help of fairy monkeys because of the difficult road. There is a stone tablet in the temple to commemorate it. This is of course just a folk myth.
Qiaolou branch
Qiaolou Temple is one of the main buildings of Fuqing Temple and the best scenery of Cangyan Mountain. Here, the two peaks are opposite, the cliff is towering, there is a line in the middle, and below it is a stream with a depth of 100 feet. There are three single-hole stone bridges in the air above the cliff. According to research, it was built in the Sui Dynasty. One of them is15m long and about 9m empty. There is a bridge hall on it, five wide and three deep. It is a two-story pavilion-style building with nine ridges, surrounded by verandahs, double eaves resting on the top of the mountain, high cornices, glazed tiles and yellow and green. Between the two kisses on the main ridge, there are ornaments such as immortals crossing dragons and lions carrying towers. Exquisite structure, unique style, integrated with the surrounding natural scenery, with the architectural characteristics of the early Qing Dynasty. There is also a temple on the bridge in the west, called the Heavenly King Hall, which is smaller in scale and less spectacular than the Qiaolou Hall. The bridge in the east is not as big as the above two bridges, and there are no buildings on the bridge, which is called a small overpass.
There are statues of Buddha Sakyamuni and eighteen arhats in Qiaolou Temple, which are solemn and vivid. There are also many painted murals on the wall, which are the treasures of ancient carving and painting art in China. The whole temple is magnificent with carved beams and painted buildings. The arch of the stone bridge is engraved with relief images of monsters, horses and figures, which are also very vivid and quite old.
If people stand in front of the temple and look out from the railing, they will see peaks like a screen, green mountains, boundless clouds and mountains like the sea, as if they were in a fairyland. Looking down the railing, you will see lush trees at the bottom of the valley, white sandalwood full of streams, and endless springs. If people look up at the bottom of the valley, they will see an antenna, and the bridge hall will fly rainbow. At this point, visitors are all amazed at the bold ideas of China's ancient architects, marveling at their ingenuity and calling them "wonders of the world".
Fuqing temple
Fuqing Temple is the main temple on Cangyan Mountain, formerly known as Xingshan Temple, which was founded in the Western Jin Dynasty, with a history of 1600 years. By the Sui Dynasty, it had been greatly expanded, with magnificent scale and brilliance. It's an ancient architectural complex built on a mountain and placed near the scenery. According to legend, Princess Nanyang, the daughter of Emperor Yang Di of Sui Dynasty, was dissatisfied with her father's cruelty and corruption at that time and came from afar to cut her hair and practice medicine to help the world. So the name of the temple became famous all over the world and became a famous Buddhist temple in China.
From the main mountain gate to the mountain along the stream, after passing Wanxiantang, there are rugged rocks, dense white sandalwood, misty clouds, winding mountain roads and steeper mountains. Climbing more than 360 stone steps, I reached the front of the temple, and there was a couplet on the door: "There is no light in the temple, and the mountain gate is not locked until the cloud is sealed." The font is smart. I don't know which famous writer wrote it. In front of the door, on two opposite cliffs, there is a flying bridge with temples, namely the Qiaolou Temple and the Tianwang Temple.
Fuqing Temple has buildings such as Giant Buddha Hall, Jue Yuan Hall, Lingguan Hall, Dressing Building, Guandi Temple, Tibetan Scripture Building, Cangyan Ancient Pagoda and Princess Temple. Some are close to cliffs, others are close to valleys, and the scenery is particularly beautiful. In addition, there are some scenic spots, such as beaded cliffs, back porch, cypress trees on the mountainside, ancient tombs of Shangshu, debate platform, secluded pavilions and so on, which are also praised by tourists.
Nanyang princess shrine
Princess Temple is located in the north of Qiaolou Temple, and it is also one of the main buildings of Fuqing Temple. It commemorates Yang Di's daughter Princess Nanyang, who became a nun here. The temple is three rooms wide and one room deep. Sitting in the west facing northeast, there are cliffs, cliffs, cornices and arches, carved beams and painted buildings. Wind priests hung under the eaves, with melodious voices. There are three shrines in the temple, with a statue of a princess in the middle and two sisters on both sides. There are 12 musicians on both sides, holding musical instruments, playing and blowing, with free expression and vivid images. The wall is covered with murals, all of which are based on the story of the princess's self-cultivation and saving the world. They are painted with meticulous and heavy colors, with bright colors, smooth lines and distinct layers. The figures are vivid and artistic, and they are still well preserved.

There is a famous Fuqing Temple in the mountains. According to legend, Yang Di's daughter Princess Nanyang once had her hair cut here, which made her famous all over the world.
There is a cave behind the Princess Temple. There is a princess's bedroom in the cave. It turns out that the woodcarving statue of the princess lying on her side is gone. There is a brick tower in the south of the temple, with a five-story octagonal building and a height of about 10 meter. It is exquisite and unique, built in the late Ming Dynasty.
In addition, from Qiaolou Temple to the east, through Jue Yuan Hall, the worse gate, and through the "empty valley bird", that is, to "open the sky". This is a cliff, and tourists can't help it. I saw a cave near the cliff. If you enter the cave along the path in the cave, you will go all the way, climb the stairs, and finally get out of the cave at the top of the mountain. Looking around, the sky is high and the clouds are light, and the weather is myriad. It is really "opening the cave to the abode of fairies and immortals", hence the name "open your eyes to see the sky".
A quadrangular rain pavilion is built in the hollow of the mountain for tourists to shelter from the rain and enjoy the mountain scenery. If you continue to climb the mountain along the small stone path on the ridge, you will soon reach the highest peak of Cangyan Mountain-Guanri Peak, and there is a "Jade Emperor Top" nearby, which contains a statue of the Jade Emperor. Coming down from the Jade Emperor Peak, crossing the rain pavilion, and continuing eastward, there are also scenic spots such as "Yin Cliff Stone Milk", Liegutai, Tiger Cave, East Gate, Gu Feng Cooper, Zhigongyan, Furnace Peak Sunset and so on.

There are three wonders in Cangyan, namely, the flying rainbow in the bridge hall, the green sandalwood in Bixi and the strange cypress on the cliff.
