3, the overall management of the city's pre-school education, basic education, vocational and technical education, adult education and other work; Responsible for students' ideological and political work; Responsible for education supervision and evaluation; Coordinate the relevant education work of the central and provincial universities in Zi and our city.
4, overall planning and coordination and guidance of the city's comprehensive education reform, education system and school system reform.
5, in conjunction with the relevant departments to formulate policies and regulations on raising education funds, education funding, education infrastructure investment, education fees and management; To formulate annual budget proposals for education funds in the century and supervise the collection and use of education funds in the whole city; Manage the education funds, infrastructure investment and special funds of the education system of the directly affiliated units, coordinate and manage the domestic and foreign education loans and aid funds, and supervise and inspect the use; Guide, inspect and supervise the use of educational funds and the management of school property in counties and departments.
6, overall planning, coordination and guidance of the city's various types of schools at all levels of the construction of teachers; Guide the reform of the school's internal management system; Cooperate with relevant departments to formulate relevant policies on labor wages and personnel management in the education system; Responsible for the employment guidance of normal graduate students and college graduates.
7, overall planning and coordination and guidance of the city's school layout planning, school building construction, audio-visual education and teaching equipment, books and reference equipment and management, laboratory construction and work-study program.
8, centralized management of the city's various academic education and entrance examination work, in conjunction with the relevant departments to prepare higher and secondary academic education enrollment brochures and organize their implementation; Responsible for the management of high school education status.
9. Organize and guide educational scientific research, teaching research and educational academic groups, and cooperate with relevant departments to promote educational scientific research achievements.
10, responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information and the development and construction of information systems; To guide sports health, art education, national defense education and population education in schools of all levels and types.
