Wuhan No.1 Middle School was founded in 193 1, a demonstration high school in Hubei Province. 1954 was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in Hubei province and the first batch of urban schools in Wuhan in 2000. The school has 44 classes and more than 2300 students.
