Zhang Haidi, Chairman of China Disabled Persons' Federation, visited and inspected China Rehabilitation Research Center for Deaf Children for many times. Dean Zhang Haidi fully affirmed the achievements of the expansion project of China Rehabilitation Research Center for Deaf Children (hereinafter referred to as the "expansion project"). Among them, Tuoer built the second phase of listening clinic and language training center, including 70 listening rooms and single-room training rooms. It is emphasized that such construction projects for hearing-impaired children and hearing-impaired groups should have high standards, pay attention to details and leave no regrets.
The construction unit of the expansion project is China hearing and speech rehabilitation Research Center (formerly China Rehabilitation Research Center for Deaf Children), which was established in 1983 and belongs to China Disabled Persons' Federation. It is the only national hearing and speech rehabilitation institution in China, and it is also a technical resource center and industry management institution engaged in hearing and speech rehabilitation.
The completion of the new center will provide more comprehensive and accurate rehabilitation services for hearing and language disabled people in China, which is not only of great practical significance to the training of professionals in hearing and speech rehabilitation and education in hearing and speech rehabilitation, but also will provide stronger scientific research conditions and technical support for consultation, screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and scientific research of deaf language diseases, and will carry out more extensive research, personnel training and international exchanges. At the same time, it also promoted the national cooperation between the World Health Organization, Hearing International and other international institutions. Giving full play to the important role of foreign exchange window will enhance China's international status in this field and achieve remarkable social benefits.
