On the 20th/3rd spring issue of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Diplomatic Quarterly, the Society organized a special topic "the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s city and diplomatic relations" and published five articles.
20/KLOC-In September, 2004, the book Urban Diplomacy: China's Practice and Foreign Experience, edited by Dr. Han, the director of the Institute, was officially published by China Xinhua Publishing House.
20 1165438+1October1,the research report Yangzhou: Promoting Urban Diplomacy with Canal Culture, edited by Chahar Institute, was released. This paper mainly introduces the successful experience of Yangzhou's urban diplomacy based on local characteristics and multi-party participation and cooperation from three aspects (the diplomatic value of world cultural heritage, Yangzhou Canal: trinity urban diplomacy, and the urban diplomacy of the Grand Canal as the first city).
(2) Hosting relevant seminars
Cooperate with foreign institutions such as the Netherlands Institute of International Relations, the German Association for Foreign Cultural Exchanges and the Korea-China Regional Economic Association; Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xining and other local governments and local diplomatic associations; Tsinghua University, China Foreign Affairs University and other well-known domestic universities jointly hosted the International Forum on Public Diplomacy and the Forum on Public Diplomacy Schools.
(3) Establish the Municipal Diplomatic Research Center.

The Chahar Institute signed the Agreement on Urban Diplomacy Case Study Base with Yangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Wenzhou Foreign Affairs College and Xining Municipal Government Foreign Affairs Office. In the summer issue of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Diplomatic Quarterly No.2013 (No.4/KLOC-0), the Institute organized the topic of "Diplomatic Relations between China Enterprises and the Communist Party of China (CPC)" and published four articles.
(2) Hosting relevant seminars
The Chahar Institute, Korea-China Local Economic Association, New Century Publishing House, Tsinghua University and other domestic and foreign institutions co-sponsored the "Jeju Forum International Exchange Sub-forum" and "Chahar Roundtable" and other related seminars.
(3) Disseminate related ideas widely.
By holding workshops, giving lectures abroad and attending conferences, the Chahar Institute has widely spread the related concepts of corporate diplomacy. Up to now, the related work of Chahar Institute in the field of conflict and peace includes:
(1) Enrich the research team
On March 20 14, Professor Liu Cheng, a leading figure in peace research in China, was hired as a senior researcher of the Institute.
On April 26th, 20 14, at the invitation of Han, president of the Institute, Mr. JohanGaltung, the "father of peace research", became a member of the International Advisory Committee of the Institute.
(2) Hosting relevant seminars
Chahar Institute, NARPI (Peace Education Institution in Northeast Asia), Korea International Cultural Exchange Institute and other internationally renowned institutions; Nanjing University History Department, Hunan University of Science and Technology and other well-known domestic universities; The Propaganda Department of Zhangjiakou Municipal Committee and other government departments jointly sponsored the China International Symposium on Peace Studies and the Chahar Peace Dialogue. In addition, internationally renowned scholars such as Mr. Haruo Nishihara, former president of Waseda University in Japan and chairman of the Asia Peace Contribution Center, were specially invited to attend the meeting.
(3) Join international peace organizations
On August 20 14, the Chahar Institute became a member of the International Peace Research Association.
(4) Participate in peaceful activities.
On September 22-24, 20 14, the commemoration of "20 14 International Peace Day" was held in Xi 'an. The event was co-sponsored by the China People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, the United Nations system in China and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. Dr. Han, President of the Society, attended and made an important speech. On the afternoon of 23rd, delegates and guests from various countries went to Jianfu Temple Square to hold a grand blessing ceremony under the quiet Little Wild Goose Pagoda. Together with the delegates, Dr. Han rang the peace bell, released the dove of peace and prayed for peace in Asia and the world.
