The library has ancient books stacks and the Three Gorges special collection stacks. There are more than 300 kinds of rare books 1300, one set of four tones, and more than 35,000 kinds of large-scale ancient books and equivalent books of Sikuquanshu.

In the five years up to February 2023, Chongqing Three Gorges University has undertaken more than 600 horizontal projects entrusted by government departments, enterprises and institutions, and won 26 outstanding scientific research achievement awards at or above the provincial (ministerial) level.
